The preliminary report of the Air India 787 crash last month has been released.

It appears one of Indias best pilots intentionally or accidentally switched both engines fuel switches to cutoff.

The aircraft achieved the maximum recorded airspeed of 180 Knots IAS at about 08:08:42
UTC and immediately thereafter, the Engine 1 and Engine 2 fuel cutoff switches transitioned
from RUN to CUTOFF position one after another with a time gap of 01 sec.

In the cockpit voice recording, one of the pilots is heard asking the other why did he cutoff.
The other pilot responded that he did not do so.

As per the EAFR, the Engine 1 fuel cutoff switch transitioned from CUTOFF to RUN at about
08:08:52 UTC.

Thereafter at 08:08:56 UTC the Engine 2 fuel cutoff switch also
transitions from CUTOFF to RUN.

The EGT was observed to be rising for both engines indicating relight. Engine 1’s core
deceleration stopped, reversed and started to progress to recovery. Engine 2 was able to
relight but could not arrest core speed deceleration and re-introduced fuel repeatedly to
increase core speed acceleration and recovery. The EAFR recording stopped at 08:09:11

Tweets were found again by Mordecai which include similar typing patterns and tweeting styles, and Larry found a resume in which he does copyrighting & marketing. hoe_math has released books in the past. I confirmed this is him with the resume's phone number being linked to his PayPal account.

Google has cut support for uBlock Origin and other Manifest V2 extensions

Bumping this to warn my fellow Kiwis: Google has started rolling out the Chromium update that officially kills support for Manifest V2. While it hasn’t reached all Chrome users yet, those who have received the update report that their browsers now refuse to let them re-enable these extensions, even if they were previously installed. The most notable extension casualties are DownThemAll and uBlock Origin.

As of now, Brave has stated they’ll try their best to continue supporting Manifest V2 extensions, but since it’s based on Chromium, there’s no telling how long that will last. Microsoft Edge is in the same boat for the same reason.

If you’re using any Chromium-based browser (like Chrome, Edge, or Brave), I’d recommend installing uBlock Origin Lite as a temporary holdover. If you’re considering switching browsers entirely, Firefox and its various forks remain unaffected by this change.

Remember: Kill advertisers. Behead advertisers. Roundhouse kick an advertiser into the concrete.
