Kazakhstan's President Tokayev held a summit today with Azerbaijani President Aliyev. The result of the talks has been Kazkhstan expressing support for the proposed peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan and even more importantly, the establishment of a United States administered highway through the Caucuses linking the Caspian Sea with Turkey and the Black Sea.

It should be noted that by US administered, the proposed treaty literally implies US sovreign control. The Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity would essentially be a numbered North American Interstate Highway under the sovreign authority of the United States on a 99 year lease. Kazakhstan indicating support for it represents significant rupture of relations between the central Asian powerhouse and Moscow.

I've been sort of ignoring this case but there have been a few developments.

As of 10/10/2025 he has decided he's a jailhouse lawyer and filed a pro se lolsuit.

It starts with this insane demand and gets more insane from there.

He's still in jail in lieu of $100,000 bail and has been for 155 days.

There's a hearing set for today at 2:00 so when that's done or cancelled I'll give a bigger rundown.
