Computer building thread i guess.

I have had this shit for almost a year and I bought it just after the last Nvidia GPU release.
Im gonna build it now and post pics in thread as I go, It's gonna take a while.
Also I am unsure if parts still work due to reasons.
Also It's a complete meme build, specifically the case is anyway.

if there was nothing heavy on the boxes to cause issues to the components and they were kept closed, inside the electrostatic bags and away from damp places so humidity doesn't fuck them over then yeah then will be fine.

nah, 20kg, you seem to be out of shape.
 
The grate didn't work at all and without it the GPU had no support, I think it was installed incorrectly or some shit because after spinning and flipping it around and comparing it to a YouTube videos case mine was different.

In any case the mobo and GPU are in, The GPU is a 24gb 7900xtx hellhound.

I have put it all together except for the cable management and the case fans.
I don't wanna start this bitch up and watch it error out and then spend the rest of the night seething with rage while trying to sleep so I am going to do a test boot in the morning and ill post update pics then.
 
when did cases become gigantic fucking beasts of metal that weight 30+ lbs? remember when you could still fit a PC on your desk and have room leftover? soon they're going to be the size of the fucking obelisk from 2001.
i have a thermaltake lanbox that fits on my desk and holds all my stuff, it's 20+ years old but does its job.

Full size towers have always been huge and smaller sizes have always been available. Small form factor computing is probably in a better place now than for a long time previously thanks to the rise of Mini PCs and MiniITX

My case is actually retardedly big, its based off an attack helicopter and came out years ago. my old computer case was a corsair vengeance, the ammo box case and i fucking love it but unfortunately they haven't made an updated version so the roflcopter case was the next best thing.
