Chairs are technology and I need to buy a new one. Are those GAMER CHAIRS actually good? Seems like there's a ton of companies making clones of that dxracer brand.

holy fuck. Killer battlestation and killer chair!I use this with one of those cheap plastic furniture sliders on each leg. Works okay, not as good as casters obviously, but the chair is lightweight enough that I can move it around by throwing my bodyweight. I wanted a goddamn recliner and this was my solution.
It's really low though, so it's not really comfortable for "real" work unless you have an unusually low desk, but I can handle typical computer stuff for a while.

Was it in front of Flander’s house?I just have a random office chair i picked up off the curb one day. its nice and comfy.
My back is starting to hurt and so I thought getting a fancy chair might help.Does "90s office chair" still exist anywhere? Cuz that's all I really need but my current one is, well, from the 90s. Starting to show its age.

The current "official" advice for ergonomic sitting is whatever you do, change your sitting position often. Move around a little. If you don't want your spine to turn into dust make breaks often, get up and walk around, do some sports. No chair will save you from the fate of pain, nerve and bone damage if you sit unmoving in the same spot for 6+ hours a day.
I like a chair that can tilt back for the occasional lounging.
