Recently noticed my cars all have a spot thats wearing from my gun when I strong side carry.

I also am sick of the grip catching my shirt.

Trying small of back and really enjoying it. Doesn't hurt to sit. Haven't had the grip get stuck on my shirt.

I’m too paranoid of falling onto the gun and getting a spinal injury from that carry position.

Plus it would never stay in concealment for me at work.

Would this jacket actually be effective for firearm carry?

Have any of yall tried the “deep carry” method with the Phlster enigma?

I ran across this and it intrigued me. I had a spare enigma laying around so I bolted my holster to it, and I’ll be damned if this isn’t way more comfortable as well as more concealable.
I had "dont aim your gun at anything you aren't willing to destroy" drilled into my head too much by my father and hunters safety to be comfortable concealed carrying with the gun anywhere near, or pointing towards, my cock and balls.
Id rather wear a fanny pack.

Switching from a p365 tac'ed out with a red dot and the mag guts 14rnd springs to a Glock 48, hoping this helps with tip out. Anyone try those wedges?

If your gun goes off in a holster you’re almost certainly hitting something of yours that you’d prefer not to be.

Myself and tens of thousands of other people manage to do it everyday without having the Tijuana sex change.

Yeah I understand what youre saying, but, at the top of that list is my one eye'd wonder weasel and his 2 round balls. I dont even like the fact that my pistol in my night stand has to point towards the door for optimum retrieval. Id rather be unlucky and shoot something else than hope to be lucky and not blow my cock and or balls off if something DOES go wrong. Its like Margaret Thatcher and the IRA, the IRA only has to be lucky once, whereas Margaret Thatcher has to be lucky every time. Tbh this is probably my most fudd opinion.

Unless you’re carrying a P320 if the gun goes off it’ll go off during reholstering. I put the holster with the gun into my waistband. Being concerned about quick reholstering is a mall ninja meme so if I do reholster in the wild I’d take it out and repeat the process.

Your gun is not necessarily pointed at your penis for appendix carry. If mine were to go off while I was seated it would graze my sack and thigh.

While standing it is possible to draw and reholstering without muzzling yourself. Step back slightly with your holster side leg and keep your chest vertical or leaned back slightly.

I wish I could carry my g19. I have a small frame and it prints like crazy anywhere but appendix. I ended up getting a g42 and carry strongside. Most of you probably think .380 is gay (which it is) but its better than not carrying anything in my opinion.

I know how you feel. I also have a Glock 19 I'd love to carry everyday, and my tests have shown that the most comfortable spot for me is around the 4-o'clock position. However, since my job involves a lot of physical labor, my clothes have an unfortunate habit of riding up and resting on the frame, which makes it pretty obvious I'm carrying. Meanwhile, my S&W M642 is so small that it can ride at my 2-o'clock and remain undetected all day.

What's the best way to conceal-carry around a sawn-off 10 gauge double-barrel?

I normally carry my G19 at a 2-3 o'clock position with a spare mag or two in my fanny pack. That's my daily carry.

If I'm going out somewhere nice that calls for nicer clothing, I carry my S&W 19-3 at a 5 o'clock in a cloak tuck with a few speedloaders in my coat pocket (.38 SP+P, older revolver and I want it to be around for a long time). That revolver had target grips and hurt the shit out of my back when sitting down, so I got rubber molded grips for it. Don't even know it's there most of the time.

People talk shit about them, but I really like my Alien Gear holsters. I have a friend who recently got their duty level holster and he really likes it, I'd like to pick one up for LARPing purposes.

I have OWB holsters for both, which I will use because I live in a state (and an area of that state) that open carry is perfectly fine and no one has said anything to me about it.

EDIT: Printing is a myth, the only people who notice are other people who are carrying.
Oh shit he found me. I remember noticing my Uber driver was carrying immediately since he had a fanny pack with the grand old flag on it. Immediately started talking about what guns we use. Its extremely easy to find out who carries if you carry. My favorite dude was the guy that carried a collapsible AR-15 in his backpack. Was fun talking about larping in the forest.

Anyways bag carry is my preferred since my penis got crushed when I groin carried once.

My work has me driving a lot with a fair bit of physical labor, and appendix was so uncomfortable that I would often just choose not to carry at all. Strongside at 3 o-clock is so comfortable with my setup that sometimes I almost forget about it.
I drive 30-40k per year and do a lot of physical activity. Sounds like you had a bad holster and belt combo

I keep my Makarov in my jacket ; The Nationale Volksarmee's field jackets had a special pocket in the chest just for a Makarov, so that's where mine goes too. If I, for some reason, can't wear it, then I keep it my right leg cargo pocket.

>EDC’s a Makarov
>Wears East German field jackets in public
>Cargo pants
