This is REALLY funny that a leaked built was put out despite being nominated for 2024 julays "put out to pasture". After the studio was executed in a grissly fashion, it's corpse was reanimated to dance for our amusement.

If you were to actually say in any meeting why the game failed, "Nobody wants to play as an obese black woman," you'd be fired on the spot. Since diagnosing the problem is forbidden, fixing it is impossible.

It'll be interesting to see. Normally companies are zealous with DMCAs to defend their IP, even when dormant, but it'd be funnier if Sony is so embarrassed by Concord they don't even want to DMCA it.

Back when there were the (totally real) rumors of an attempt to bring the game back from the dead as an f2p or something, I speculated that if something like that came to pass, a lot of people would at least try it, just to see what the whole fuss was about. And of course, the engagement farming "content creator" caste would have had a field day with it. Because it came and went before most of them even realized what was going on, even though they were able to capitalize on the gravedance, they probably regretted not having at least some footage of their own. Of course, any revival still would have failed because it was a safe punching bag but still.

If Sony were to fall for Internet Gaslighting for a second time, it'd be the most hilarious outcome. Unfortunately, they seem to have learned their lesson after Morbius - or at least weren't stupid enough to try it with Madame Web.

Then again, SIE and Sony Pictures have different retards at their respective helms, and I swear every division of Sony's looks at the others being stupid and says "Hold my Beer", they might've done it to try and recoup something...

I'm legitimately curious how much DEI/ESG Money covers the budgets of these games, cause there's no way a competently run company that's trying to make as much money as possible would keep throwing good money after bad for this long. Especially with how Concords budget ballooned.

There's no shot in hell ESG Bux covered that kind of budget.

I think Dustborn managed to scrape together about 100k from multiple different Eurocuck grants, but I don't think it works the same in America, even when the DEI angel investors were around.

In all likelihood Sony footed the whole bill, because Herman Hulst is a fucking retard who doesn't care about anything that doesn't have his autistic OC Aloy in it.

Blackrock lost one trillion dollars, yes trillion with a t in 2024 investing in DEI initiatives.

The main goal isn't to make money, I'm sure getting mansions so they can sit in them and sneer at the proles is a nice side effect when it happens but the main goal is to subvert and destroy western civilization.

They thought they were going to make money. The logic went like this:

  1. We control capital in America
  2. Therefore nobody can succeed without us
  3. If we force everyone to go DEI to get capital, all products will have DEI
  4. There is no way we can lose money because there will be nothing else to buy
  5. Also, women and negroes are just as competent as white men, so product quality won't suffer
They were wrong about (4) and (5). It wasn't part of the plan; they were just that dumb.
