You know, Howard Scott Warshaw may have made ET, one of the worst video game of history. An honor that Firewalk studio now shares. But HSW also made Yarr's Revenge, one of the best title on Atari. Firewalk studio did nothing else but this and yet they still feel like they can sing it's own praise.

Fucking ridiculous.

Geez, I read enough of this toxic positivity in my corpo job, it really pains to see it in the off hours, too. I can tell you one thing, even the soyboy who posted this doesn't believe it. It's just framing shit in a way that they think will get them hired into their next role.

What kind of deranged historic revisionism is this? "Aspects of card battlers"? The only thing that they could be referring to is that clunky half-assed team-building mechanic that felt like it was thrown together at the last moment and was mostly inconsequential. Even then calling that an "aspect" of another genre is a fucking stretch. What the fuck does concord have in common with any fighting game outside of Shaq-Fu is absolutely beyond me. The line "other aspects of the IP didn't land as we hoped" without further comment is masterful PR sleight-of-hand, I'll give them that.
Don't try to play the "our game was too original for the current market uwu" card when your game's main problem was that it was too safe and too bland in an oversaturated market. At this point blaming it on the chuds would be less embarrassing.

Oh I'm sure she's doing great!

Do we still have to call her Professor if she's unemployed?
Update on ImagineAmanda:
The account went into protection again.
Looking up the username, people were shitting on her today, not hard to see why she went into hiding.
I wish we could see their accounts just to know how their coping with losing their jobs. Would be hilarious.

Didn't he make it all by himself in a few months, rather than over 8 years with hundreds of people (not counting the thousands of people brought in at the last minute to get it out the door)?
That's right. And the game had some degree of replayability that at this time was uncommon. The board was randomized each game. To be honest ET wasn't even that bad. I think the Indiana Jones game was much worse (and HSW also made it.)

For the record I had both ET and Indiana Jones and I was 5~6 years old and could not figure out for the life of myself how to play any of them. God for the Indiana Jones game you had to use both controllers and some of the buttons on the console to properly play the game! But he did what he could, the atari gamepad had a single button and he needed more because he made a game that had inventory management.

He did what he could at the time, and he did all by himself, with no developer tools of any kind and incredibly short deadlines.

Same protection status as Jon Weisnewski (or Jon Weenie), the beta male that hates white people except for himself.
I wonder if they will delete concord from their profiles. Like honestly consider this.
If you SAY you worked on it, its a MASSIVE stain on your reputation.
if you DON'T, people will ask "why should I hire you, what have you done the last 8 years?"

A few years ago the phrase "the customer is always right" was sacred. Hopefully after the goys spat this slop back in their face they might focus on what people want instead of the 20k a lesson DEI hires.

How could white people do this?
I don't recall any black people playing this game either. Speaking of, how many people streamed this game? I've never seen anything about Concord outside of this thread and the gaming news sites.

This is one of those announcements typed up in the event commercial failure. Must have been written a ways before release which is why it makes no sense. Whichever unemployed intern typed this up couldn't have known six months ago the studio would collapse this quickly.

Funniest thing, of all outlet kotaku half confirm what colin said. That Concord cost 200M to make before sony purchase it. So sony spend more money to polish this garbage turd. This line up with what colin said, 200M initial budget + another 200M to finish it. RetardEra still won't admit maybe colin actually has a source.

Archive so kotaku retards don't get any ads :
