Never knew a thread for this existed. Also, I am horrible at Connections. Don't expect any wins from me.

* In general, I think solving by inverse obscurity is the proper way to successfully complete the puzzle, so I always aim for the order: purple, blue, green, and yellow.

* Had to recall a line from Pirates of the Caribbean, which used the archaic term for things you own (ie - effects) to help finalize purple.

* Initially thought "green" or "sound" would work for blue.

* Green was pretty easy; I thought it should be yellow.

  • Seemed easier than most.
  • Three of the purple were obvious at first, but the last one was a little foggy.
  • Blue was also pretty straightforward, unless you never owned a pet dog before.
  • Yellow and green could have swapped colors, IMHO. Per usual. Lol

  • Overall challenge: Medium
  • Yellow and green are usually guesses for me, especially if they're the last two colors. I guess wrong most of the time.
  • Purple and blue were pretty challenging as there was a lot of interpretation available.
  • There was a lot of "action" today. Must be a stressful holiday for the author.

  • Difficulty: Medium
  • I don't get this game.
  • Purple seemed like an obvious set of connected things.
  • Again, yellow and green is a crap shoot.
  • Protip: Whatever your gut feeling is, do the opposite of that.
  • I should sleep more, maybe go a bit heavier on the daily h2o intake.
