ConsumerAffairs is a website providing unfiltered public reviews on brands across America. The nature of the platform allows users to anonymously post either extremely negative reviews, or detail stomach turning sagas of negligence and shitty business practices. Often reviewers' experiences originate with miscommunication but most companies don't claim their listings to interact with posters. This has created an echo chamber of angry boomers and genuinely wronged customers with zero clarification.

Just about every company has a horrible review ratio. Amazon.com for example has:

396 four star reviews,
203 three star reviews,
482 two star reviews,
and 4,854 one star reviews.

I purchased food at McDonald's in Elgin. Then I downloaded the app. Enter my credit card for payment info and they deducted $73.00 from the account. I have spent 3 days and 14 endless emails with them. They stole my money and won’t give it back.

Horrible service. Promised a delivery date for an AC unit for July 3rd. Purchased from HD based on their ability to get it to me. Well they lied. FedEx tracking shows no delay. HD just lied about the speed of delivery. Won't arrive until at least 2 days later when I have no one to install it. I have big projects coming up and HD won't get any of my business ever again.

Chipotle has completely fallen off. Don’t waste your time eating there. It will be a disappointment. I don’t know what’s going on. If you go in, you may watch flies getting your food and they act like you don’t. If you order online, you will not get the right person shot size for what you paid. The bowls are barely full. Nothing is fresh. It’s just bad. The only difference is you don’t get a chance to see the flies lying on your food.

I have complained. I never receive a response back, and I hate the fact that you can’t call and deal with these issues. You’re just being rerouted to pepper and pepper is not helpful. No one reaches back. I’m over Chipotle, they will not see a dime of my money ever again. The worst location is in Hope Mills, here in North Carolina. The second worst location is on 40 one here in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I’m very disappointed. I don’t know what’s going on, but all I can say is don’t waste your time with Chipotle. They are not who they used to be.

I returned an item to them as per their instructions. I have the return receipt. They say they are still waiting for the item to be returned. I disputed the payment. Now they are requesting I pay again. Are you kidding me? The phone support is worse than awful. Not sure what Country I was talking to, but they had no clue.

I love this website and wanted to share it with others.

One star reviews are generally left by loons and retards. On Google Maps, if you click on their name you can see their other reviews and figure a pattern. Usually they're your average menace against retail workers failing to pull some stupid scheme.
