ContraPoints / William Nicholas Parrott / Natalie Wynn Parrott / Nykytyne2 - GamerGhazi Cannibalism Victim, Youtube "Intellectual"

Like he expected Blaire to be a bimbo and was shocked that she wasn't.

I'm sure to many Blaire comes off like a total valley girl but having watching a few of her interviews on Youtube I noticed the comments are mostly complimentary talking about how level headed and intelligent she comes off. To these conservatives, this was their first exposure to a tranny who wasn't a screaming lunatic. I'm sure Cancer underestimated Blaire thinking she was going to wipe the floor with her in their debate and got pantsed. She can make excuses all she likes but she's not exactly chomping at the bit for Round 2.

Ugh, that New Yorker article... "
The Stylish Socialist Who Is Trying to Save YouTube from Alt-Right Domination".

Natalie has like 5-6 videos on the Alt-Right. She has twice as many on "Gender and transness! Teehee!" Why do these articles keep sucking her girldick with this narrative of being the savior of the Left when most of her videos are just basically about herself?

Also, some fun Twitter sperging:

Still getting pushback, I see.

There absolutely should be medical gatekeeping around being trans, DOUBLY so for "nonbinary" people. Twenty years down the line we're going to have a generation of adults who thought they were trans and have now irrevocably fucked up their endocrine system because of irresponsible stuff like this that they read when they were young and impressionable. NB's are even worse, especially ones who think they can be loosy goosy or go halfway with HRT, ala Milo Stewart, who went from being a quirky-but-cute lawn gnome of a girl into a sex-crazed, androgynous goblin with a 13 year old boy's voice. I am a straight cis woman (sooo boring, amiright) and I didn't feel okay about my gender until I was 20; puberty is uncomfortable and weird for everyone, and self loathing in regards to your body is super normal when you're a teenager.

If youtube had been around like this when I was a teen, I very well may have ruined my entire adult life for the sake of having a cool identity label. I think it's completely irresponsible for an adult to be saying shit like this.

Contra's twitter is honestly tragic-funny. Half the tweets are self-reminders that Twitter is toxic, don't tweet, and the other half are either retweets of SJW/librul news issues or Natalie trying to do damage control.

Nyk, you can't get upset at someone for misinterpreting where you stand and rebut it with "it's a fictional character." Either make your videos vlog style and give your honest thoughts and opinions (as you did in Incels for instance), or make it all fictional characters.

Also not helping is that Natalie is constantly changing her characters ad hoc. Justine went from being a reasonable moderate Leftist to a nagging shrew, and Tabby went from being a two-dimensional gag character to a vulnerable transwoman trying to express herself authentically. It makes the videos super jarring and inconsistent, and if people are getting the wrong message, most of that falls on you, Natalie.

Apologies for my :autism:.

Firstly how in the hell do you watch those videos? I have a hard enough time when I have to hang out with someones trans friend for an hour, and these people are actively going to watch a tranny waffle on with strawmen and mean girls re-enactments? It's almost as if its a guy taking the piss out of actual bitchy women half the time, and yet, the feminists just eat it up.

It's like watching a guy in blackface promoting BLM.

Apparently now making enough money for some orbiters in writing positions to take notice.

"It could be said that Contrapoints videos debunk pernicious ideologies the way that Snopes articles debunk false rumors, but that comparison sells Natalie Wyn short."
That analogy actually works well, but not in the way that they think that it does.

Especially when they're talking about a post-modern penis person.
Listened to the Contrapoints on Chapo Trap House episode. Mostly pretty good, she came across as quite reasonable. But the interview did show their mutual fear of criticizing their own side- she points out that she keeps humorous and self-deprecating, contrasting this with the absolute humorlessness and self-importance of a Ben Shapiro figure, acknowledging the appeal of the classic myth of the great moralizer who is humiliated and shown to be a hypocrite, but doesn't in any way criticize her own side for acting this way. They act as though her existence debunks the notion that campus leftists are absolutely self-serious and self-righteous on its own, the issue is done, and we can move on, they're all cool. For all they act like rebels for confronting abstract power structures, they are ultimately too weak to question their own in-group.

Basically, solid interview, but left questions unanswered because confronting them would be too uncomfortable to both guest and hosts.
I don't think Contrapoints would ever do a meme review of herself. Then again I don't think Ben would cry over GamerGhazi hating him, though I'd pay to see that.

Listening to Contra on Chapo is actually the first experience I’ve had listening to her. She seems bright and knowledgeable about her topics. However, she doesn’t seem to actually be entertaining. I’d say maybe interviews aren’t her element but iirc doesn’t she do tons of interviews?

Idk, I mostly don’t really understand how these not-very-entertaining Youtubers like Contra or Internet Aristocrat get fanbases when they seem really fucking boring. Maybe I’m just old.

I think for LeftTube it's less about entertainment and more about having the right politics. I'm in a Contrapoints fb group (minor :powerlevel:?) and all the content from her fans there consists of "ugh I hate capitalism" and "is this term offensive?" posts. There are a few memes, but nothing really good or entertaining, mostly just :autism:. There's a 600+ comment thread about a twitter reply ffs, because of what they *thought* he *might* be *implying*. REEEEEE

Contrapoints is much better scripted than freeform, but I like boy-mode better, if only because there was more humor and substance. And his boy voice is much nicer to listen to.

The title calls him a "stylish Socialist" but of all dresses he could possibly have chosen to wear, he went with the $1255 Roberto Cavalli dress that was brought up on page 24. Hell, even the article acknowledges it:
Wynn was about to start shooting a video, and she was already in costume: a form-fitting Roberto Cavalli cocktail dress with a gaudy tiger print. She applied a swoop of black eyeshadow above each eye, then unboxed a pair of press-on lashes.
As painful as it was, I read the whole propaganda piece article. It was every bit as ass-kissing as you would imagine:
Her videos combine slapstick and dark surrealism, Foucauldian banter and Fleetwood Mac covers, subtle metaphysical insights and unsubtle dick jokes, and calls for socialist revolution made in pink wigs and designer heels. She is one of the few Internet demi-celebrities who is as clever as she thinks she is, and one of the few leftists anywhere who can be nuanced without being boring. She knows her way around a syllogism, but she also knows that persuasion is not reducible to reason—that the best arguments, on their own, do not always win. Or, as she put it in a recent video, “Politics is aesthetics.”
“It’s pretty tempting to just mom the shit out of these kids,” she says—to correct their thinking and nudge them to make some friends. “But most incels don’t want to hear this kind of advice.” So Wynn tries another approach. “Hello, boys,” she says, facing the camera and swirling a glass of white wine, as smooth jazz plays in the background. “Let’s talk about bone structure.”
“I know what it’s like to obsess over millimetres of bone,” she continues. “I actually had to interrupt work on this video to go to a consultation for facial-feminization surgery so I can pay luxury-car amounts of money to shave off a few millimetres of bone here and there.”
Shapiro, a conservative pundit, refuses to call transgender people by their preferred pronouns, claiming that referring to a chromosomally male person as “she” would be “a lie.” Wynn swiftly poked a half-dozen holes in his argument. “It is not I who misunderstands biology, Ben Shapiro; it is you who misunderstands language,” she said.
When Wynn posted the final version of the video to YouTube, several commenters wrote that it had made them reconsider their views. “I didn’t even know what cis meant until I stumbled on your videos,” one wrote. “I guess I just wanted to thank you, as cheesy as it sounds . . . I know how rare it is to change someone’s opinion on the internet.”

Must be nice having establishment legacy media types who've employed hip-and-with-it leftists aware of YouTube's existence to take time and effort to write lazy, self-indulgent puff-pieces that lick William's feminine-ball sack. Not much else to work with though. I wonder if his fellow internet monster squad are resentful that this troon making about ~250k USD a year gets all the ass-pats?

Also, I don't give a shit about "little" Ben Shapiro but I don't understand why it's a feather in Bill's cap that he made a response video? And what's with the language in the story too? "Swiftly poked half-a-dozen holes in his argument" "She is one of the few Internet demi-celebrities who is as clever as she thinks she is, and one of the few leftists anywhere who can be nuanced without being boring" Slobbery but amusing to know that the mainstream think that a drunk, pill-popping, troon is really their light in the darkness.

Reading those quotes was painful enough. It's like hearing, ironically, basic bitches trying to be conscious.

Wow, how unexpected. A puff piece full of dick sucking by a liberal rag that’s part of the dying media.

How many socialists wear Roberto Cavalli dresses, have puff pieces written about them, and buy $1k press on nails?

I don't know why I didn't notice this before, but apparently there's a link to Nich's Amazon wishlist in his Twitter bio so that his fans can buy him things (because it's not like he earns a shit ton of money every year or anything ) and I saw that there's a TV in his wishlist https://archive.is/wF7qR

Given that he's clearly expecting his fans to buy him things, is he hoping for someone to purchase him a TV, I wonder?

Goddamn. This dude is possibly in the top 5% of earners in the United States. What an entitled shithead.

Is he paying his taxes? #thotaudit
Probably, if only because Patreon doesn't pay in bitcoin and it's hard to receive a $24k check each month without the IRS hearing about it.

But it's not out of any moral obligation to the state on Contra's part.
