House renovations vlog part 2 complete with creep shots.

creeper.png

The workman can be heard letting out a sigh every time Clem starts filming around him, just after 1:29 and 1:42 are the best ones.

Clem appears to be sleeping in the shed as the workmen make too much noise during the day for him to rest, its hard work being a thirty-something NEET after all.

lol those sighs! Imagine how annoying Clem was being off camera for them to be that irritated by him?

I believe so. But that is cooldudeclem after all, it doesn't matter if its safe or not just as long as it functions in the moment.

Goodness knows. I bet Clem spent half the day trying to muster up the courage to talk to them, and then the other half pestering them about how certain things worked.

Hopefully those gents can laugh about it all at the bar this weekend.

Hopefully they Google his name and discover this thread

@January Cyst sounds like the idiot doesn't realise that the more search terms he entries, the wider the spread of results is going to be, and how far offtopic it'll get..

The problem was actually that he has lashings of malware that redirect his searches to sites like:

The interesting thing is though, this is something that happens a lot with Clement Saggers from Newmarket.
He has several videos where he blames something and it turns out that he had installed a cavalcade of sketchy software on his PC.

Huh, didn't go that far into the video... But yeah, malware redirects is a much more logical reason (though not one he'd admit since he probably got them from sketchy porn sites or torrents) than google screwing up.

A lot of people blame Google for stupid shit that they bring upon themselves. Google is viewed as this big evil corporation bent on world domination (but it doesn't stop those people from using Google's services, like YouTube), so anything that goes wrong is automatically Google's fault.
"I searched for hardcore Sonic porn and ignored all the warnings from my antivirus software, and I managed to get infested with malware! It's Google's fault!" Actually, people like this tend to use horribly outdated antivirus software (if any at all) because they don't like the layout of the updated version, or something like that. Like Mylar (remember him?) who uses Windows XP, or Windows 98 with prehistoric browsers.

Clement Saggers from Newmarket is a case in point example.
He tends to aquire his software from dubious sources and then blames the electronic overlord for messing up his computer (SEO)

He strikes me as the sort of person that would have downloaded 3kb .mp3.exe "music" files back in the days of P2P, and then wonder what the hell happened when the system gets hosed. He can't put two and two together.

Oh shit, LimeWire was full of virus files like that, but if you weren't stupid, you could easily tell the difference between them and actual MP3 files. I used LimeWire and Kazaa for years when they were active, and I never once got a virus. My cousin would always fill the family computer with viruses though, and they had to get their system repaired so many times it wasn't even funny.

But Clem, I so wish YouTube was around back when LimeWire was in full swing. It would have been hilarious to see him filling his computer with viruses with fake MP3 downloads, and then ranting and raving about how it's Microsoft/LimeWire/Google/etc.'s fault.

The workers have finnished work on the house of Clement Saggers' mum:

Also, some creepy drawings:

I'd be more worried about that damp than the hole Clem!

And that pully cord is for the boiler. In case you need hot water to the shower and it hasn't boiled in a while.

OH GOD! LISA SIMPSON? REALLY? NO ONE LIKES LISA!

Broadcasting to the world that he wanted to fuck 8 year old cartoon character Lisa Simpson?! Damn, he really doesn't have a filter does he?
Also, what's with his voice at the beginning? It also happened again a short while later in his video. Is it a strain to talk the way he does, and he keeps slipping into his natural voice? Does anyone know what he sounds like when he's not trying to sound like a child?

I couldn't make it past five seconds.
Gorgeous and handsome?

For such a self-proclaimed techno genius he sure sounds like an old lady.

His only complaint is that it can't run windorz programs, and that it let him use FAT32 for the system filesystem which I don't think the installer even lets you do that, so how he managed to accomplish that is impressive at least. I'm equally impressed when people somehow make their Windows installation unbootable, because I know as much as a driver developer and even I don't know how you do that casually.

He doesn't have any complaints about the scheduler, the system bus, OpenGL, the display server, recoverability of driver crashes, microkernel versus monolithic kernel, the Unix architecture in general. For such a smart guy, you'd think he would at least have a cursory overview of the architecture of Windows NT and Linux and how they compare. I can see he's as good at software as he is with electricity.

My theory for why lolcows always like old tech is because it's both simplistic and there was so much hype for it. They're naturally drawn to electronics full of belt drives and cogs and computers full of expansion boards and simplistic, easily-understood parts. It lets them feel smart because they can suss out what everything does instead of doing work to read documentation (because lolcows hate work lol). As long as they can take things out of it and put them back in, that's all they want. Can't do much of that with today's compact and integrated digital electronics. Both Mylar and this guy have very little control of their lives, so hating modern technology so much seems kind of natural.

(Sorry for powerlevel)
