So do schools, kindergartens, summer camps, orphanages and every institution where adults are entrusted with taking care of children. All those institutions also bring some benefits with them and therefore should be fixed, not banned.

Frankly, I'm not thirsty for children by any means other than being father of one or two (three is my limit), hence why I'll never get my neck in the rope.

I fully agree with the first assessment. I think the current ban structure against lolicon serves that purpose.

In the case of the second one, I acknowledge that you can't just keep kids out of public institutions that are beneficial to their development, but I believe that religion should be set apart from those other institutions. I don't think it has remotely the same benefit or value as the others you listed, and is completely unnecessary considering how dangerous it has been.

However, to your point as well, an institution used for abuse of power doesn't really have anything to do with lolicon, which is a much easier problem to solve than removing religious institutions.
