The gun club at my liberal arts college was 100% like this. Down to the "never use slugs, it'll go through a wall, buckshot all the way" dumbassery. They put up targets of GOP politicians at the range.

The only way this guy could be more similar to the people at my college (who I went shooting with quite a bit) would have been if he'd also brought a Mosin-Nagant to play sniper with, just in case he decided to change up his plan of attack based on tactical decisions in the moment.
