Unless I’m hosting a big party or something, most of the stuff I see there I’d probably end up wasting because it’s too large of a portion. Buying bulk snacks there is nice though. I mainly stick to pantry or freezer items if I shop there.

Their poutine is fucking awesome. They don't cheap out on any of the ingredients and doesn't do any weird shit. Just thick cut seasoned French fries, proper cheese curds and plenty of gravy.

But I probably won't renew my membership because a wholesale club is close to my work and I really don't need nonsense like a bucket of mayonnaise and I find cheaper glasses on Zenni

I also can’t go to Costco these days without thinking about this internet meme:

Choke on hog cock and kneel to your Sam's Club betters (they carry "my" brand of dog food).
I go to both and everything seems slightly worse compared to Costco. Even the food court isn't as good.

There was this interview with the Costco CEO that was basically a glorified ad, but he said "other stores, their approach is "how much quality can we sacrifice while still retaining customers" and our approach is "how much cost can we cut while still maintaining quality". At least for Kirkland stuff, the CEO has to personally sign off on everything and he claims every single thing has a strict limit of how much profit margin they can charge. He started at the company as a forklift driver and worked his way up which is pretty much unheard of these days.

You've never lived if you didn't shove a $1.50 hotdog in a $3.00 chicken bake to maximize meat umami pleasure.

Your misspelling is confusing, I was wondering what step ladders had to do with food. CosTco, "t" capitalized to make it stand out.
