Could we add an insert quote button to comments being edited?

I'm banned from the Suggestion and Update thread for suggesting that we don't have the chat on every page, so here we are.

Could we get the ability to post quotes directly into comments that have been posted and are being edited?

Right now if you wanted to add a quote to a comment that's already posted, you have to first insert the post into a new comment, switch to bbcode mode, then copy and paste that into the comment you're editing that's also in bbcode mode. Then switch back, delete the quote from the new comment field and delete draft so it doesn't keep popping up.

It's so much easier to just double post.

Sometimes the copy paste works even if you don't switch to BBCode mode, sometimes it doesn't. I think it might help if you have line breaks around the part you're copying.

Either way, all new features and most bugfixes will be punted into SneedForo.

Come to think of it I think it works for desktop but not really for mobile.

You can always turn it to pure text mode to do it. "toggle bb code" button that looks like 2 brackets.

What about if you are editing a post then the edited post becomes the destination for the reply/+quote stuff, so its not more buttons it just makes the existing ones more contextual
