Frankie Boyle was in his past really offensive (at the time) and badmouthing comedian from Scotland and well known for this. What I've heard recently is him getting a bit softer and trying to not be so angry and offensive according to his own words.

I always assumed this to be a "quitting smoking is easy, I've done it hundreds of times" type of joke, never imagined that any people out there say it unironically.

Considering Dank's age, lifestyle and damage already done, plus the fact that he needed IVF to sire them in the first place, it seems a miracle that only one of his kids came out retarded, screetches constantly and can't even talk right.

I hate to say that was me before I *actually* quit. I quit about 2 and a half years ago, I did bum one off a friend drunk on fourth of July, but holy shit I have no idea how smoked for as long as I did. The taste just sucks now and it lingers there for hours. Maybe I caught Covid without realizing it and it fucked my sense of taste for cigarettes, but I can't even stand the smell of them anymore.
Anyway, I don't see Dank giving up any of his vices. He strikes me as someone who even if he became like me and suddenly just hated the taste and smell of cigarettes, he'd still keep doing it because "quitting is for pussies", but he won't mean that ironically. It's like he never grew out of the teenager tough-guy "snitches get stitches" phase.

Smoking destroys your sense of smell, you managed to quit for long enough for it to recover so that you could smell what all the non-smokers can.

I don't think it's that simple, I've taken months long breaks from smoking in the past, and taking my first puff felt great, just this last time it made me quit for good.
It never made the inside of my mouth feel like it was covered in a layer of shit before.
