I've always wanted to open a thread about it and delayed making a thread due to laziness. For those who don't know it's a show talking about the lives of crazy/awesome people from the past/present (though very rarely it will be internet famous). Not in depth as some other channels but it's pretty informative overall and we might get interesting discussion out of it. Some favorite episodes of mine:

Latest interesting video is The Gladbeck Hostage Crisis that is basically an episode of Beavis and Butthead in real life but with a tragic ending.

While I like some of his videos, Dankula has a really bad habit of leaving out details and not doing his due diligence when researching videos. The two videos that come to mind are Killdozer and the Silk Road video. The Killdozer video is based on a copypasta story posted on Facebook years after the event and is wildly inaccurate to real life (notable examples are that the access road to his shop was never cut off and that his sewer connection was never cut either; his shop never had a sewer connection in the first place), and the Silk Road video is borderline propaganda. Dank completely ignored the fact that Ross (the owner and operator of Silk Road) attempted to get people killed all because he didn't actually kill anyone and just got scammed in one case while the other killing was staged by the feds.

Dank's videos are decent background noise, but do take everything said in them with a massive grain of salt. He isn't above leaving out details to further his own point.

His Glencoe Massacre video is interesting.
TL;DW: Scots kill other scots but Dank whines about "muh evil angloes"

Probably my favorite background noise and always a neat way to hear about some European stories I might have missed out on but first, it is in fact YOUR BOY, Raid: Shadow Legends...

His worked reactions when he believes something provovotive has been said sometimes annoy me, the way he chortles and winks at the camera like some fat michevious gnome as if he and the viewer were in it together on some wonderful inside gag is bothering at times, i guess this is what passes for charisma when you've been trapped on a muddy rock island since time immemorial, fucking you brothers and sisters generation after generation etc.

Some of these just seem like a humorous read of a Wikipedia article. But it's ok.

Also, the upbeat royalty free jingle on sponsor segments...
A lot of people didn't like the YouTube PornHub highlights feature when it was first added to the scrollbar, but this has been absolutely insurmountable when skipping past the Ad Segments in videos including ones by Dank. Genuinely one of the few changes I really liked that YouTube added.

I enjoy his video, but feel most of them could be good 10+ minutes shorter. The first 5 minutes of most of his video are just skippable.

Considering Dankula's first video was on Drachennlord, whatever becomes of that guy should be the final Mad Lads.

The Killdozer one is especially bad because it's always told as a story of a reasonable man pushed to do unreasonable things, and then if you actually read anything other than internet comments about Marvin Heemeyer, he comes across as an entitled weirdo who drove himself schizophrenic when he couldn't extort more money out of a deal, believed God was telling him to seek revenge and then built a death machine to destroy the town he lived in. The most you can say about him is that at least he didn't decide to kill anyone, outside of the cops he shot at and the guy who dueled him with that loader.

I'm surprised he hasn't done one on Sir William Wallace yet. I suppose that's in the pipeline, though.
Wasn't he a lot more of a loser than the film showed?

Also I'd recommend the McAfee video. Very informative and Dank does the due process of telling he was very likely a nonce.

Shame that dead man switch never gave anything spicy. Wonder if it was ever there.
