COVID retrospective - What a wild time that was!

The human toll of the covid nightmare extends far beyond ‘some people died of it.’ Countless lives wrecked and destabilised just witnessing what went on.
Your poor aunt. I hope she’s managed to find some peace. FWIW, such a reaction to horror means she has a moral compass.
She really is one of the best people I know and what she saw and was told to do (FWIW, she didn't comply, she walked out of work, had a mental breakdown, and was signed off sick for several months) changed her in an unfathomable way.

I know several people whohave been vaccinated. One has, since his course of "boosters" started, the last being several weeks back, been increasingly exhausted. He doesn't sleep wellor properly, and wakes up completely exhausted. he does have a stressful job, and works from home, fully remotely, but he is otherwise in great shape. Swims several times a weeks, works out a lot, and does 5ks in an obscene time (+20 minutes is "bad" by his reckoning, but for a 40 year old, i reckon that's great).

Just the constant grinding exhaustion, and needing to sleep at mid point in the day, is a concern. According to his GP there's no underlying physical causes (though in my opinion he should get his folate levels checked and have a whole blood cell count test) but he's the most tired person I know.Anyone have a take on this? It seems to have started with the vaccines.

Also slightly OT:Like 4 years back, people have been putting their christmas decorations up weeks early, and the media have been really pushing "turning on Christmas" mid way through November. I can only conclude this is a distraction and a ploy to get people to focus on anything other than how shit things are just now and how shit the last few years have been, and how shit things are yet to get.

I do kind of wonder like 10 years from now some one, who was like 10 at the time, is going to do a documentary on just how crazy every one went with COVID. Just how much it fucked up a generation of kids, how quickly it went from nothing to taking over the world, and the doublespeak from every one when the Summer of Love happened.
It will probably be done by some zoomer kid who had his junior and/or senior year of highschool ruined and makes a retrospective video about the scamdemic on youtube that ends up getting millions of views. I highly doubt any mainstream outlets will greenlight a documentary on how they were wrong.

Maybe The Daily Wire or Angel Studios will publish it?

I still see the occasional person wearing a "face mask" now and then, but it's rarer than when people first started wearing "face masks", which as at the time when there was all that panic buying of toilet paper and other supplies as if there was a major war breaking out or something. No doubt SJWs want to "memory hole" the panic buying.
I see mask signs, social distancing signs, hand sanitizers in complete disarray. People have memory holed this. Government barely acknowledge it anymore.

I saw the season of Grays anatomy that was aired during the pandemic and the paniganda is unreal. It brings back memories and it worries me... It worries me that so many people just went with it... Some complied, some had a power trip and harassed others...
@Otterly : In care homes in the UK anyone with a "positive test" was forced down the Liverpool Care Pathway, irrespective of whether or not they had symptoms. The "tests" mean jack shit and always have. My aunt worked in a nursing home and anyone with a "positive" test was punted onto midazolam, had liquids and food withdrawn and was literally left to die. And that's why my Aunt tried to kill herself, had a total mental breakdown and changed career totally.
They needed to get the covid numbers up...
And the footage from China was faked. As fucking if you can trust the fucking chinks on fucking anything.
China caused this. They knew months in advance. They refused to restrict travel during a holiday season so that bat eating chinks could spread their plague. This was probably done to save face not out of malice...

This is as crazy as it sounds. A lot of people blame "long covid" or "vaccines" as a way of coping. You're getting old, your body decays, if you think outside forces caused this you are no better than the Haitian gangs who believed the voodoo doctor and his bullshit.

While I lived in a more "progressive" city, it wasn't that "progressive": I only got told in person to "face mask" twice. Once by some soy-sounding Target employee, another when I was entering the post office, by some surly-sounding guy. I think it was that soy sounding guy who effectively said another time he thought muzzling made him a hero.

Of course even CDC indirectly admitted muzzling up with the standard "face mask" does nothing, as typical smoke particles can pass through them, and the virus particles are smaller than typical smoke particles. Best a "face mask" may do is stop drops of saliva or boogers when sneezing or talking (ew). And speaking of, remember those ridiculous plastic barriers at checkouts? As if airborne virus particles would magically not just drift around them. And "social distancing"? As if the virus particles would magically stop at 6 feet or 2 meters... depending on the location. And also the coof was supposedly "woke" as it didn't spread at "woke" riots "mostly peaceful protests" and rallies.

Some complied, some had a power trip and harassed others...
And others defied "The New Normal" BS. 😎

to this day i still remember how absolutely insane stores got. people filling carts with nothing but toilet paper and water then selling it online. i know some people who will most likely have toilet paper till the day they die because they just stuffed their attic with it.

the masks were also odd in some ways i liked them since they did help stop retards from sneezing on things. not much but it was better than nothing.

i also remember those rgb face masks you would see for sale online with the replaceable filters i sometimes wonder if anyone bought one of those and if they still use it.

All the reports from mortuary's discovering the long strings of clotted blood that mostly doesn't get tested for and almost no central authority accepts the reports from suggests that there at the very least is a number of people who do get physical damage from vaccines and boosters.

If some died due to them, and the death numbers in general seem to suggest so (to the level that some countries like Britain have redefined what excess mortality means), then it only follows that some were damaged by it without it being fatal.

What feels surreal is that we're still talking about this after four years. It's not like we shouldn't be talking about it four years later, but that goes to show what a Big Deal (TM) it was.

I was in Mexico when this pandemic began and I had to leave home 5 days earlier in the end of march, otherwise airports would close and I would wait months to go home. I thought 5 days was a viable sacrifice. Fast forward one year later and Trudeau closes the airports by the end of January and I was in Mexico for less than a month. I'd figured fuck going home and sacrificing 2 months away and wasting the money I payed for the Airbnb for nothing. I stayed in Mexico for 4 months that year.

I picked the best time to go to Japan in 2023 because at this time, the country opened up and things were cheap then, now it's getting pretty expensive there.

With that being said. I have seen plenty of small businesses I went to close down. Our local movie theater is gone and I never realized watching a shitty Star Wars movie in the theater is the last movie I watched in that theater.

To this day, even though I am mellowed out. I still question this horrendous disruption known as the pandemic. It torn apart many people's lives. It has felt like a scam considering it was created in a lab. And then led a psychological warfare campaign to further divide people. It's unforgivable.
