Crash bandicoot 4 it about time

Never really played a Crash Bandicoot game, much less a platformer for a long time...but this looks fun. It could actually be good if it doesn't inject Whedonism or politics so I'll keep an eye out.
 
I actually had both the Gamecube and the PS2 versions because I burned a ring in the PS2 disc trying to beat the first boss. Load times were terrible in the PS2 version, hence the burned ring, but the Gamecube loaded faster. Now I'm running it on a USB drive this time, but I remember the disc being a lot faster than the PS2 anyway.

Gamecube has some chunky framerates that I don't remember from the PS2 version, but I haven't played anything but the GC version in a long time.

i remember the coco levels and the second boss having awful framerate drops.
 
Aw shit I want this. Well the N Sane Trilogy got a pc port, maybe it will happen to this to down the line.

But to address the WoC fans here, it's definitely not a bad installment for the franchise. But if I had to describe it, I'd say it's an aggressively mediocre version of Warped.

If it follows the original 3, expect it to be as about as plot heavy as a mainline Mario game

Coco looks more like a Psychonauts character than a Crash character, other than that though it looks great. The fact that there will most likely not only be a new mainline Crash game but also a sequel to Psychonauts may just make this year worth living through.

Yeah, I still remember that scene from Crash 3 where Dingodile went back in time to join the Nazis, and used his flamethrower on the prisoners at Auschwitz, while Cortex created apartheid in Africa.

At least the ending, where N. Gin came out as transgendered and was accepted by Crash and Coco was heartwarming.

Well shit. I was already disappointed by the news that Miyamoto said in support of the protests, there will be ghosts of colour that you can't hurt and only white ghosts can be captured in Luigi's Mansion 4:
