Crash for Smash confirmed.

Honestly, at this point, Nintendo should just bite the bullet and pay the licensing fees to get Crash Bandicoot and Master Chief in Smash so they can have all the console companies' mascots. They've already got Mario, Sonic, and Pac-Man for Nintendo, Sega, and Atari. Might as well get the closest things Playstation and Xbox had for mascots.

They'll make a lot of money off it anyway with how popular Smash already is.

I don't feel like dealing with the Blizzard launcher, so I guess Switch version it is.

Well one of the rules to be in Smash was that the character had to be on a Nintendo console at some point, so that's actually already covered for Crash.

Pac-Man is Namco's not Atari. The only thing Pac-Man had for Atari was a shitty port that had a part in Atari's demise along with ET. Pac-man was a no shit gonna be addition since he had a crossover in Mario Kart and Miyamoto designed a Pac-Man game.

Also kek considering Blizzard has their heads in their asses making new games, at this rate there will be more Activision games than Blizzard games on the Blizzard launcher.

It really bums me out how that one seems to be skipping any sort of PC port.

I remember when Smash was once specifically a slugfest between Nintendo characters, then it became that with a few special guest stars, now it's basically "characters fighting each other" with the Nintendo angle almost being secondary.

But that's perfectly fine, I agree they should go crazy with it and throw in Crash and Master Chief.

Well guys, I have bad news. It looks like Toys for Bob has been Activisioned.

Between this and VV getting hitched to Blizzard, it seems both Crash and Spyro are probably done again. *sigh*

I look forward to an online-only mobile card game collectathon grift that only divorce kiddies will buy every weekend whilst others move on.

That'll be where Crash and Spyro are headed, except as spare references with no substantial play value for even consoomers.

They fucked Crash 4, came out a month before next gen consoles with no day and day port ready and with it being full price over the budget price of the remakes.

While it doesn't seem to have done bad, and that mobile cash grab they just put out seems to being doing great but the issue is CoD just demands so much resources which is going to keep growing if it keeps a yearly series that need dlc support with demands of current gen game dev, sad fact is more money can be made in CoD which justifies moving more resources to it rather than making more games overall.

Beenox could make another Spyro or Crash, but have a feeling if another one is made it will be outsourced or partly outsourced like Spyro 3 was in the collection. Still money to be made both from games and merch but I expect quality to not be high.

So, no new Spyro, then? (:_(

On-topic - Got IAT on Switch a month ago, and I'm now at 75% completion. HOLY BALLS, a lot of the reviewers were not kidding when they said that this game was a bitch to 100%. And I'm only going for all the gems and Flashback Tapes, I can't even begin to imagine how fucky-wucky the N. Sanely Perfect Relics are.

Oh joy, I can't wait to see Crash, Spyro, and Tony Hawk get held hostage by a publisher that wants nothing to do with them anymore, it'll be like Rare not giving a shit about their old IPs in the 2010s (but even that was better since other developers had been picking up their slack lately).

I like Call of Duty, but god forbid Activision have a little bit of variety beyond that and Blizzard's nonsense.

They've also fucked it by not just putting it on Steam, had they done so I probably would have bought and played it by but having it on Battle.net ahs delayed that.

Also, I guess we're not going to get any more Tony Hawk remasters?

Given that it's a variety of sports game, you can safely fear from now on that anything Tony Hawk related will be some online-only MMO abomination you have to pay out the ass to keep on top of.
