Creepy Stories for the scariest time of year (a little late)
1) My Kit Kat Clock
I unearthed a Kit-Cat Clock that I purchased decades ago.
I hung it on the wall, and it started right up, perfect time. But a day later, the tail/eyes stopped moving.
I fiddled with no result and just rationalized "It's broke".
Over the last 2 years, the tail and eyes start and stop and times that coincide with important life factors. Deaths, jobs, etc...
I'm not spooked, but it is weird. Especially returning from a trip and seeing it swinging away after 10 months of dead still.
2) Dog Ghosts.
I lost my dogs a few years ago. I miss them dearly, they were not dogs, but full members of my family. Both lived until their mid-teens and had full lives. I always feel their presence, in the areas they used to occupy, rest, and play.
Last night my SO and I _distinctly_ heard a 'sneeze' at the back door, where the dogs used to groom each other.
One of my dogs was mildly allergic to something and would sneeze after grooming and before going to bed.
The sneeze was _exactly_ like I remember.
My rationales.
1) random EM weirdness. I know the cheap wiring and how the mechanism works. Might be temp related too.
2) Some mail fell. Human ears are easily tricked - a stack of papers sounds very similar to a sneeze.
(but choose to be spooked if you like)
