The developer Aquaplus has been acquired by CREST(yes it's spelled in all caps). CREST is a game company that made mobile games. Aquaplus is mostly known for Utawererumono(Underwater Ray Romano). And the whole reason why CREST bought Aquaplus was pretty much for that, they're planning on global IP growth which means everything Aquaplus will release now gets a global release.

They bought the entirety of Aquaplus including Leaf, which was where Aquaplus released their ero and ecchi titles. It's likely that CREST took a rake to it because CREST does not seem interested in titles like those.

This is could possibly explain why both Utawererumono Zan 2 and Monochrome Mobius had their console releases held up. Utawererumono was floating between NIS and ATLUS in terms of who globally publishes, but now it's looking like CREST is going to publish these games for every territory.

There is already an Utawarerumono gacha released since awhile (2019), under the name of Lost Flag.

Likewise, there are android ports of the mainline games available for free (only containing the VN parts, none of the strategy levels) on Android and iOS albeit region-locked to Japan as well.

Also Crest seems to be a multi-function company (as shown in the graph in OP), but they did publish non-mobile games such as Metallic Child, Black Witchcraft, Aria Chronicle, The Lord of the Parties across Steam and Switch (nothing for Playstation).

And nevermind there is currently an Utawarerumono spinoff in the works (Gizoku Tantei Nosuri) featuring the dumb bird woman who takes the job of a detective. It will launch as a digital-only title on December 22 in Japan (only) for 4,180 yen on PS4 and Switch.

Moral of the story: Take anything Marissa Moira the sony cocksucker and pro gamer larper with a huge grain of salt as usual. He gonna disown Aquaplus once that company will be forced to focus on Switch instead of Playstation, just like Falcom and the rest.
