SpikeyFoxDick.jpeg still haunts my dreams and I don't understand why anything would put a goddamn penis mace in their mouth.

I wanted to spite the people drawing all the sexy 5NAF art by making something terrifying and purposefully un-sexy.

I guess it worked.

Why do people seem to have the impression that, even though powerleveling is specifically advised against in the guidelines, it is somehow less of a nuisance if they announce that they're going to powerlevel by saying "not the powerlevel or anything" or if they put it under spoilers labelled "powerlevel"?

I think they're confused and think it's like trigger warnings or something, when it's really "don't do that."

People do that after they A-Log too by posting (:alog:). Their thinking goes: if you are aware of what you are doing, and make it known that you are aware, then you are allowed to do it.

nobody cares about the rules.

I know this is a shitpost (even though it is also completely true), but they should. At least the powerlevel one.

Not because it harms the board if they ignore it, but because it doesn't take many of these powerlevely posts to add up to your own personal halal thread.

It is really about time for a culling of the herd, as it were.

If there's no actual content, why bother Halaling someone? Because it just creates a person who'll never leave and likely won't get banned either because very few lolcows have been banned from the 'Farms unless they're being super discruptive.

Powerleveling is shitty, but people could also bear in mind the "Be civil"-rule which is broken as often, or even more site-wide.

Well, the life story crap and asspat begging posts are not only cringey, but make the entire site look like trollshielding loonies by association.

That's slightly inconsistent with an entire thread for mocking this ridiculous shit.
I just more meant the threads that were just screamfests of people getting mad towards the lolcows. Overall the site has gotten a lot better introspection when it comes to simply yelling at lolcows for pages on end.

At least one of these people is a fullblown lolcow of some sort.

I don't really "get" tumblr to the point of being able to tell that, though, just on a cursory look.

Would it be considered Halal to just delete the powerlevel in an edit or delete the entire post? I'd like to edit some of my more cringy posts so as to make them more relevant to the thread but I don't want to make it seem like I'm back-pedaling or anything. Or if it's just dumb in general and doesn't contribute anything of value to the thread, could I just delete it?

Not really much point after it's already been cited. There's some absolutely ridiculous shit posted by long time regulars probably including myself but it's not worth the effort of actually deleting it. Just don't do it again.

Editing your posts to align with the guidelines better is okay.

If it's sensitive and very private information, it's worth deleting.

Alright. Good point.

Yeah, I might do that. I don't care if people still rate it powerlevel since they'd already see people quote my original post. I'll mention in the edit that I fixed the post though.

Edit: Oh, thanks for merging the posts; that does make it more organized actually.

@IJustWantToSeeAttachments @Meowthkip are you two having some sort of contest over who can make the most cringey tumblr posts in the thread for cringey tumblr posts? Not everyone wants to read 3 pages of in-jokes, so if you want to talk about sodomizing each other with spiky fox dicks please take it to an inner circle thread or private messages.

We already did.

It's extremely erotic.

@norrington 's entire fucking post history.

@Takotsubo5, let me give you another hand here: "your" old livejournal is still active. (link) They don't post there any more, there's nothing tying it to anybody's newer accounts wherever ex gf is now, so if you're her, it should be no issue for you to post proof that you're who you say you are there. It looks like it was made around the same time as your deviantart account so presumably you either still remember the password for it, too, or you know the email you could get a password reset from.

EDIT: Alternatively, you could change the password on that deviantart to something innocuous/impersonal (e.g. 123456 or 'password') and let us know so we could see for ourselves that you have access to the deactivated account, since there's no way to reactivate a deviantart after it's been deactivated for 30 days.

EDIT #2: I found another older livejournal ex-gf said was theirs on an old twitter account. If you can't access that first one, maybe you can still remember the log-in for this one: (http://mrsmustang.livejournal.com).

4 day old white-knighting tumblrfag that's trying to get another tumblrfag to jump through hoops to verify when a mod has already said they're fine

EDIT
Someone's salty. Does this count as a post?
