So, a while ago, I found a YouTube channel called "Expert Village", which is a channel run by e-how and is meant to be a channel filled with short tutorial videos on niche topics that aren't usually explored. This way, tutorials on the channel can be more specialized and helpful depending on what you're trying to do. So for instance, a video on the channel covering Gardening would be focused on a small part of Gardening and would be more indepth than just a overarching tutorial on how to Garden.
The problem with this is, you don't technically need any credentials in whatever subject you claim to be an expert in, meaning literally anybody can send videos to Expert Village to be uploaded, and there doesn't really seem to be any quality control, either. This leads to videos like the ones featured below, which is where this thread comes in:
There are also a lot of videos that are fairly well made, but really just don't need to exist. For example, this dude named Matt Cail, who I guess is a expert on Elves or something, made a seven part series on how to make an Elf Costume.
Like, it's not even that bad of a series...Just...Why the fuck does it exist? Was there really a demand for indepth Elf costume coverage?
And there are literally thousands of these videos. That's not an exaggeration. This is probably the biggest YouTube channel I've ever seen in my whole life.
