Who knows? I don't read enough of that stuff to be any sort of expert. However, theres this thread on the dreaded AVEN forums that has some info, if you feel like digging around.

I mean, yeah, technically all words are made-up, but for some words there is an obvious Need, and for some words there just isn't. It's why Inuits have so many words for snow.

As an aside, I need a word that means "horrified" and "delighted" at the same time. I found more posts from Ray that indicate he self-dx'd with AvPD, in addition to everything else.

@Juscum that's fine, I'm just busy transcribing stuff. There's the SED-BPD. SED, for the record, is a qualifier for autism-spectrum disorders, not personality disorders. I know for sure I haven't gotten to the AvPD, so it might take a little longer to dig up that particular screenshot, because I don't have a metatag reference for it.

My transcription .txt document already has 6.5k lines, what the fuck.

im always amazed at how quick these kids are to slap themselves with a personality disorder label like its a horoscope. the criteria are intentionally vague since, y'know, personalities are what they are, so with a bit of selective reasoning, you too can have an amazing scapegoat for all your shitty behavior! theres extra kicks to be had by telling people what they can and cant say to you. its an extremely rewarding experience for the attention-starved.

there's a reason they wait until you're well on your way to adulthood (18-25, but more towards 25) until a professional will diagnose you with a personality disorder.

He tries to make himself seem like a child by accusing the people who call him out of being "old," so I could see how it might work. That's what he wants people to think.
The alternative is a sad, pathetic man in made-up mental illness Walmart picking out what he thinks suits him best and being inappropriately sexual and violent around kids.

As someone with a personality disorder and other stuff because life is stupid sometimes, I just get more and more annoyed at him slapping labels on himself.
Like yeah, I understand the social anxiety thing. I'm such a loser that I have to have skype on even when I'm with my friends in my town cause it's like my safe haven/crutch, and hell, I was a borderline agoraphobe for half the year.
Still, in my interactions with him, I did not see really any symptoms of most of the stuff he diagnoses himself with. imho, he's doing it to fnd excuses for his behaviour so when someone calls out on him for being a shitlord wankstain he can cry ableism.
