Accusing all criticism of being a brigade is reddit behavior. No doubt many of them came from some eceleb's twitter but many of them also probably found his video in their recommended just because they watch RE4 stuff on YouTube. That's how the site works.

One video I feel contented with is his Far Cry 2 vs. Far Cry 5 video. Although FC2 is more technically advanced compared to 5, they're completely different games in execution and tone. FC3 is when that series went into a more "gamey" route.

Even so, FC2's mechanics would not gel well with the intent Far Cry wants to go.

he does point out well how people are joining in defense of crowbcat with the audio because there was two videos posted in his defense too, there are comments saying how you can fuck up your audio in the demake by reloading and saving too much.

He's not wrong with the objective physics differences or the lack of interiors in V. However, the video omits the objective fact that IV was less optimized on PC than V's release. And that GTA V initially released at the tail end of the seventh generation of consoles. Context matters with his comparison of video games.

Whether you think IV is better than V is subjective. The point is that it baits the viewer into automatically thinking that an older game is always better than a newer game for X reason. That's not always the case.

Stardew Valley is fine (or was when I played it) but I'd not really call it "new" cause it's just Harvest Moon. (unless the updates drastically altered the game since I played it last)

But yeah, none of those are *that* great and fairly old.

I feel like the whole five year development cycle has really fucked up with the perception of retarded zoomer faggot gamers who were babies when Rockstar was pumping out a game a year.
