Crysis 4 (oh and Crysis thread I guess)

Never tried 1. Started from 2, really enjoyed the atmosphere and music.

3 was just straight up garbage writing. Most half assed tech demo of a story ive ever seen. It looked Amazing, but that didn't change it from being dogshit worse then JJ abrams. I just did not buy Cell taking over the world and somehow beating all these dudes with nano suits. It would be like if in half life 2, if the military ruled the world after getting its ass handed to it by aliens in black mesa.

Also the bow broke the game.

You should seriously give 1 a try. Up until the aliens show up its really fun jungle tacticool gameplay that has far more in common with Battlefield than CoD. Its a big change from the more linear corridor shooters of the later games. Its a shame they went with the CoD-style of gameplay for later games instead of sticking to that sort of open-area gameplay. Especially with MP.

No current thread talking about it and it seems like currently there is only 1 thread for the newest crysis game/cry engine game so I will put this here, there has been leaks concerning a new crysis game and ofc its a battle royale, Im assuming they were looking for the final nail in the coffin for this franchise and I think this may be it, make sure its dead for good this time lol.

Shame to see a franchise that always had lots of potential with the creative and fun nanosuit powers and sandbox environment go to waste by becoming another crap hero shooter a la nu-Marathon, Valve's Deadbolt and the already-flopping Concord, you can sneer at Crytek all you want but the whole games business is now dogshit and completely devoid of talent/ideas and nothing's worth playing other than nostalgic autism from the 90s and 00s.

Its a shame Crysis had such ridiculous requirements since its MP was "Battlefield, but with nanosuits".
