South Africa is going through a similar situation. Power grid poorly maintained by the crooked ANC since the 90s. Basically I think the situation in Cuba will mirror the situation in South Africa, where they will fix this specific issue, but over time these events become more common and eventually the entire country gets progressively more strict power rationing.

There are parts of South Africa that only receive 8 hours of power a day, and have been like that for over a year.
Why do you need more than 8 hours of power per day goyim? Are you not working and sleeping the other 16 hours of the day?

What is the rationale to still keep the sanctions against Cuba in place for the US?
plenty, as much as I shit on the USA and NATO;... Cuba is one place I think tit for tat Russia needs to just leave alone, Russia have been visiting it a lot lately and stocking it with weapons. Ukraine is basically the Neocons getting back at Moscow for Cuba in a very very big way, and now Russia is amping up Cuba again. I don't like lots of people dying and nukes.

lol nope, this is Cuba. They will just tell the Russians or China to deal with it, and then probably try to fuck with whatever help that eventually arrives.. Assuming this isnt another three gorges gonna collapse any moment now piece because Cuba has probably been dealing with rolling blackouts since forever.

You're forgetting that the currently installed US regime loves brown people and would sacrifice any number of its citizens to promote their well-being and bring them to our shores

Nah, the neocons in question support Ukraine more out of trying to repeat Operation Cyclone to get someone they like again in charge of Russia than any tit-for-tattery about Cuba. Cuba's been on the to-do list for ages for these guys but something else always comes up and the can gets kicked down the road. If anything, there was a brief moment where Cuba could have been brought into the fold around 2015 but as is typical with American politics, interests of resentful expats triumph geopolitical considerations for some reason.

Cubs is a nice place besides all the poverty and socialism. Lots of scammers. They have neat cars they all work on in their spare time.

I wish Cuba was more like Fast and Furious with drunk island niggers.

If I remember correctly that also have DIY internet.

On the other hand, South Africa doesn't have to deal with the degree of sanctions Cuba's been under for the past 50+ years. I would expect China and Russia will be able to provide them with the necessary replacement equipment and the technical know-how to solve the grid's problem just to spite the United States.
Oh yes a bunch of Niggers using RiceNigger and VodkaNigger tech.

That won't collapse in a month.

Nah, the CIA will "save" them and encourage them to depose Miguel, and then they can move in and install a new dictator who's more in line with the Western power establishment.
This would obviously and unironically be a massive upgrade over being under embargo from their nearest and richest neighbor.

Cuban's don't count to them. Cubans have a nasty habit of voting Republican. Can imagine that? Latinx's voting Republican? How dare they!

That's why JFK didn't cancel Eisenhower's Bay of Pigs plan instead had it commence but without telling the Cubans there will be no U.S. air amd logistical support. Leaving the entire carrier task force there listening to the Cubans get slaughtered by the communists on the radio. As it had been ordered by Kennedy to stay there and let them be killed or captured.

Reminder that the US trade and travel restrictions on Cuba are basically ignored by the rest of the world

Cuba's economy has always been and always would be incredibly hurt by not being able to trade with the US or have access to American capital investment, but Canada, Mexico, Europe, South America, Russia, China, India, most of Africa, most of the Asia-Pacific, they've never followed along with Washington saying fuck you commie Cuba or stopped following along after the Cold War ended

And still Cuba's economy was mostly shit until 1991 then became total shit because no more USSR gibs. 33 years and it's still total shit. This is what communism gets you :story:

I think Eisenhower lost the plan once it falls under the hands of the "military industrial complex".

South Africa has people break into power stations to steal coolant and battery acid to use/ sell as cooking oil.

They also will strip them for copper, but that’s pretty normal in the 3rd world.
