There are major protests tonight in the cities of Cuba. No footage, unfortunately. Does anyone know any good Telegram channels that cover Cuba in English?

The U.S. Embassy in Cuba has issued an ultimatum to the Communist regime, demanding the immediate release of all citizens imprisoned for ideological reasons. This demand comes after it was revealed that the island reached a record 1,214 political prisoners in February, amid a repression that has claimed new victims of the communist dictatorship.

BUCK. BROKEN.

Cuban president says talks were recently held with the US to resolve differences

That's it, kids. A Russian/Chinese client state out of their back pockets.

The moment when Cuba’s dictator, Miguel Díaz-Canel, announces in a national broadcast that he has yielded to pressure and that the regime is officially in negotiations with the United States.

Not much on the news recently regarding Cuba, all about Iran as you would imagine.

What’s folks thoughts on the regime(Cuban) falling anytime soon ?
Cuba is a few days away from being completely out of oil and energy. They can't even get the migrant release valve going because Nicaragua has broken that ratline due to American pressure. It's getting to the point where the only thing keeping the government in place is that they control the guys with the guns. How long they can control them with energy and food supplies depleting is anyone's guess.

They're completely out of friends now. Venezuela is gone, Brazil and Petro are feckless, and Mexico's politics is frozen due to a failed election reform. Russia can't get them oil, China won't give it to them because they're fucked due to the Iran situation. I'm not going to say it's completely over, but it looks progressively more over as the days go on unless one of their allies can pull off a last minute save. Diaz-Canel confirmed that they're talking to America now.

What's crazy is because emigration from Cuba has been so high, that Miami and Florida at large has a Cuban American population on par with the home island and many have gone on go actually be successful compared to other latin American populations.

It's a real meme that the capital of Latin America is Miami. Cuban Americans have a monopoly on American Spanish-speaking media and even the cigar industry. They're the most influential and wealthy Hispanic minority in the US even when they're just a fraction of the Hispanic population.

Yeah Cuban Americans are a major voting bloc that are the main reasons we didn't reach any agreement with the Castro regime after the collapse of the Commie Bloc.

culture that deserves to be under harsh management
Disagree, the only way for South American to be well, is to be ruled by an Iron fist ruler. The only thing the Mejica nigger, has better in comparison with the purebred nigger, and with mudslimes, is that the mejica is way more submisive and more likely to accept orders. That is why south american countries cannot pass more than 30 years without entering some kind of dictatorship. The best Rulers latam has had, were iron fisted right win dictators.

1) America is ungovernable, for us; 2) Those who
serve revolution plough the sea; 3) The only thing one can do in America
is emigrate; 4) This country will fall inevitably into the hands of the
unrestrained multitudes and then into the hands of tyrants so insignificant
they will be almost imperceptible, of all colors and races; 5) Once we’ve
been eaten alive by every crime and extinguished by ferocity, the
Europeans won’t even bother to conquer us; 6) If it were possible for any
part of the world to revert to primitive chaos, it would be America in her
last hour.

Night-time protests against the Communist Regime of Cuba happening right now in Moron, Central Cuba, as Cuba enters its second week in full blackout

Cuban people invaded the Headquarters of the Cuban Communist Party in Ciego de Ávila, Central Cuba and set it on fire.

Cuban Protesters set fire to the Communist Party headquarters in Morón, Central Cuba.

Grupos de acción rápida (Cuba's Colectivos or IRGC) shot a young man in Ciego de Ávila

I have a couple questions.

1) This is certainly a manufactured crisis by the US to make Cuba desperate enough to reach some sort of deal. Probably nothing as drastic as "dismantle your commie government or else you'll be dead in a matter of months", but probably something like ensuring they only buy oil from countries they approve of. My question is, what's stopping Mexico from selling oil to Cuba even with the threat of tariffs? I feel from Mexico's perspective it's worth calling America's bluff.
2) The general shift towards hawkishness, especially with Iran, is extremely risky with a mid-term election impending. Is the hope that all these conflicts will be over and done with by October/November and voters will have forgotten about it? Or, failing that, is Trump operating on the belief that he has nothing to lose and just wants to get all his long term goals out of the way while he's still in office?
3) If Venezuela, Cuba and Iran are all toppled, what does that mean for the list of countries the US has historically deemed to be a problem? Is it just Russia and China at that point? Would they set their eyes on somewhere like North Korea?

Mexico is in no way able to stand up to the US. If they did, we'd start blowing up cartel targets. If Sheinbaum goes full retard she'll get Maduro'd.

Iran will be over by next month and by the time of midterms most Americans will have forgotten about it. It isn't Iraq 2, we aren't going to be sending hundreds of thousands of soldiers to control it.

3) If Venezuela, Cuba and Iran are all toppled, what does that mean for the list of countries the US has historically deemed to be a problem? Is it just Russia and China at that point? Would they set their eyes on somewhere like North Korea?
Iran, Venezuela, and Cuba were/are Chinese aligned and with them under American control China is cut off from oil, which they import 70% of what they use. Iran also has large deposits of rare earth metals. We aren't going after North Korea, it's not worth it. Russia could be swayed to align more with the US which would break BRICS and isolate China further.

My God, when the red regime in Cuba bites the bullet we will see some of the most glorious leftist meltdowns in history, I can tell you that as someone from a country full of Castro fanboys. It will outshine the cope over the 2024 election, Venezuela, Iran and everything else. We're going to see a group of mentally unwell people react in real time to the fall of their personal Agartha and it will be spectacular.
