I'm NOT the guy to usually say this, but this **REEKS** of GayOps.
i would agree more if the cubans weren't the only ones announcing it. america didn't try to get ahead of them and set the narrative. cuba themselves outright admitted it, and did not make any effort to imply they were drug smugglers or anything else, just that they killed them. if the US did this, it would be an international incident. as it is, we release literal video of it every time and not once has any state we allege these people are coming out of actually rebutted the idea that that's who they were, or claimed we killed civilians from their country.

I hope this won't be a puppet state setup like with Venezuela, even if there it was perhaps pragmatically the easiest way to do it. Hopefully not as eliminating a Marxist-Leninist dictatorship within a few miles of the US should be the goal. It is a desperately poor place and the US was there before.

This could be the USS Maine incident mark II.
again, why would cuba be the ones announcing it when we clearly have no problem announcing that we've blown up drug boats before, and that we are also easily willing to get ahead of a scenario to try and get the narrative in place before anyone else. in this case, it was the cuban embassy, and again, they did not give any excuse other than 'americans in cuban waters'. they claim that they were shot at, but they don't make any claims that they were stopping anything. vance himself has already commented that we're 'monitoring the situation' rather than some big statement that would have been pre-prepared if we were false flagging this.

it feels very much to me, and looks like it too if you think on it at all, that this is cuban retribution the moment they identified americans in cuban territory, for the amount of damage america has done over the last two months to their ability to exist as a nation. this is the limit of their force projection, is killing people on a jetski.

So this means we're kidnapping Miguel Díaz-Canel and bombing Castro's grave too right? I don't even care if this is a gayop. I just want another round of IRL Kino.

i would agree
Point. (to your post and what I left cropped)

I'm leaning this is likely some false flag shit. As pointed out, its just registered Miami. We've had open borders for years. That leaves a lot of hands on the knife when the lights are out. We had cartels growing pot in national parks at industrial scale, already, this likely isn't much different. We just don't know wtf is going on out there is my main point.

doesn't feel like a false flag. we metaphorically just capsized the island by destroying their ability to get oil and seizing multiple tankers. they are seething with rage no doubt, and i'm not even passing any judgment about them being right or wrong. it is completely within reason that cubans are fucking pissed at america, and this was an act of revenge as soon as they learned it was an american vessel. we'll see, obviously, but nobody seems to be bringing out the nuke cuba rhetoric among the cabinet right now, so i lean away from it at the moment.

it is possible, but i currently find it unlikely myself, due to my stated reasoning.

I'll reserve judgement for now, but I don't like them touching the boat, especially one from Florida. Unless it was full of brown people or drug smugglers, then I don't care.

Man, whatever works. They gotta do the stuff and not blue ball the expectant.

You think law-abiding White people are sailing into Cuban territorial waters?
drunk boaters on vacation in florida during the cold winter months? absolutely. introducing alcohol can make even the most powerful of us cave dwelling neanderthals make a few bad calls or misread lat-long readouts, or even misread a map if you're a retarded boomer.

what really gets me isn't even that they might have killed americans, because that's not surprising, they're cubans, of course they would. what gets me is the fact that all the same people who normally chimp out seconds after an announced drug boat strike on south americans are completely radio silent about the deaths of americans who very easily could have just been innocent babies who dindu nuffin. it's a very telling silence.

I'm thinking the same. Cuba is close, but not so close that you can easily mistaken your course and end up in their waters. Especially not in a small vessel that normally sticks close to the shore in the first place. That being said, it's a bit over kill for Cuba to fire upon them instead of just detaining them. Illegals show up here all the time and they get free gibs. But if we do what Cuba did to actual invaders, it would be an international incident with condemnations up the ass.

the cubans are claiming that the speedboat opened fire on them first. they don't provide any video evidence of this of course, their military is too poor to have been equipped with monitoring equipment, and a commie shithole wouldn't want to document their military doing evil shit anyway.

I just assume the Cuban government is lying because they are commies. All governments lie, but commies specifically reinvent history to fit their needs all the time even while said history is happening. Cuba knows it fucked up and is why they admitted to it before the US did so they can direct the narrative.

Or think a boat with a bunch of Cuban Border Guards were actually narcoterrorists and start blasting (again, speculation and assuming what Cuba said happened was true). Hopefully it was friendly fire

4 dead after a shootout involving the Cuban coast guard and a speedboat registered in Florida.

Details are scarce. Cuba says the incident happened inside their territorial waters and the American boat fired first.

Dude, remember when I said in the Greenland thread a while back that if Trump had a hard-on for invading somebody, and building a legacy from it, he should just finally bring about an end to the Cuba thing?

🤔

If it was Cuba killing people trying to smuggle people out to the US - good on'em.

If it was Cuba just blasting an American vessel (why would it be out there?) I don't think this will end well. I'm reminded of all the attempts on Castro that further cemented his power.

Also Marco just clarified it wasn't a gov't boat or had gov't personnel. Suuurrreeee buddy.
Marco likes sucking dick, and I never trust a cock sucker.

Does not matter at this point. Cuba fucked up bad, Trump is going to run with this as a reason why the regime needs to collapse. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a full blown revolt by June. I'm assuming the officers in Cuba who shot the people on the boat are already dead.

To be fair, we dont know enough yet to know if we need to chimp or not.
