Cuba Protests ongoing Right now

Somewhat related:

Alain David Jourgensen (born Alejandro Ramirez Casas; October 9, 1958 ) is a Cuban-American singer-songwriter, musician and music producer. (...) Born in Havana shortly before the Cuban Revolution of 1959, Jourgensen moved to the United States with his family at age of three, and was raised mainly in Chicago and Breckenridge, Colorado.
I bring this up because, for a Cuban-American whose family fled Cuba to escape the Communist revolution when he was 3 years old, one would think that Uncle Al would have a more enlightened perspective, but this has never ever been the case.

Can't wait to see this fuckhead denoncing the Cubans, only for his mom and pop to smack him right across the face like the spoiled brat that he is.

>North Korea is bad not because of its totalitarian fascist government, but instead because of US Sanctions
>China totally allows free speech and allows liberal ideas but it's a one-party gov't by choice totally
>It's okay for a country to restrict free speech because otherwise that might lead to the people actually having a voice and moving for a government that fits their wants better

"The Empire"? What is this? Some kind of Star Wars fanfic?
To tankies, America is some illuminati supervillain that, at the same time, is a domineering Sith-like force that can kill countries through sanctions, but also a country that is for some reason super desperate and on the verge of collapse.

Another communist tried to talk this person down from their idiocy saying that Cuba was >not real communism

and as with all zoomer slacktivists, their only retort was with some video that hypersimplifies and idealizes reality.

Or maybe some British sports fans could be useful...I dunno. I'm drinking don't expect anything of me.
Nah, they are faggots, you want greek football fans. they burn down their own teams bus if they lose to much. even german fans would be better, schalke fans beat up their team for getting relegated to league 2.

I will support whatever action the government of Cuba takes against these protestors on the condition that they put webcams on every single street corner and livestream everything to the Internet.

Watching Rose Emoji Twitter absolutely seething right now, and claiming the only reason why the Cubans are in such dire straits is because of Western embargoes. Right, because I thought Communist utopias like Cuba are self-sufficient and don't need to rely on capitalism to survive.

How are our dear lefty celebrities and politicians reacting to these news?

For instance, take this tweet from the Communist Party of Chile.

Of course, they stand by their pet despots and mention how the embargo is the one hurting Cuba, not 60+ years of socialism. At least it got ratio'd.
I can only imagine all those fuckers, from Corbyn to AOC, are secretly hating this uprising.

This is about the government locking down the population and at the same time not providing care for the rampant outbreak of Covid that came from Russian tourists.

They literally wouldn't allow people in 3 major cities to even go out food shopping......they told the people the government would deliver food and it didn't happen

How many people in history have died waiting on a Communist government to deliver food? I am sure the number is in the tens of millions.

I can believe this is organic, Cuba has been experiencing a good deal of food problems of late and if there's one way to piss off a relatively impoverished people it's hurting their ability to put food on the table. A good sign of the severity as well is the Communists not immediately crushing this outburst, you don't let unrest like this occur as a dictatorship unless you think the consequences of action are worse than having it continue (see the cops joining in on the protests). Matters are clearly worse than they appear and the Cuban Commies are probably hoping keeping quiet provides a suitable enough pressure relief valve.

Of course now that it's gained some traction expect glowie influence since the Biden admin are desperate for any sort of foreign policy win they can spin.

From what I understand Cuba's medical system has been falling apart for years now. The fact that is the primary reason for a totally legitimate and not glowing like the sun summer of fun is quite perplexing. All things considered the country is poor as fuck and literally is still in the fifties is insane. Not like the people there can really even afford clothes or the basic essentials either, on top of that it is a commie shithole.

When you have checkmarks and pseudo anarco communists come out of the wood work because of this type of event just doesn't rub me the right way. Since we are in the decade of the happening who knows, maybe Cuba might have its first troon leader that is totally not an agent of the Globo-Hommo order to pay those pesky Cubans back for not falling in line with the seething and dilating mandate of 2030.

Don't forget Justin Trudeau since his dad was very friendly with Fidel and all those rumors mentionning then Castro is Justin real father. Btw, Michael Moore's documentary Sicko have now aged more badly.
