Jesus, retroactively defending Atheism Plus. There is no hope for this fuck.
That's honestly more embarrassing than name-dropping GamerGate.Jesus, retroactively defending Atheism Plus. There is no hope for this fuck.
He really is one of the biggest dramacows on YouTube, which is really saying something. Not a day goes by when he doesn't fall out with someone for stupid reasons.Dusty teamed up with CreationistCat's Vadim Newquist (and Tim Blake, who's mostly unknown) to do a podcast. They had some sort of dramatic fallout over who gets the Patreon bucks, with Vadim "firing" Dusty, as if their sad and pathetic online habits count as employment. They decided to have it out in a stream where they whine at each about how they can no longer be BFFs. It's pretty damn gay:

"Gotcha Boys" Canceled! Why I Got Fired After Only 1 Episode! (CODcast EP: 15)
Vadim Newquist joins us live to discuss why I got fired from the podcast with the greatest intro ever in only 1 episode, plus tons more! Paypal: cultofdusty2...www.youtube.com
I don't understand, was there some God that shoved burgers in his mouth all the time?Dusty used to be massively obese until he lost a lot of weight
I haven't been able to find his first video addressing the anti-SJWs from a few years ago, but I remember that he admitted that he tried making a few anti-SJW vids himself when he stopped getting views. It was only after that failed that he resorted to crying about how his videos covering supposedly more important topics weren't doing as well as the anti-SJW vids. I think that we can safely assume that he's only obsessing over anti-SJWs because anti-anti-SJWism has become a feasible cash cow in its own right, and most of its adherents are so desperate that they'll accept almost anyone into their fold.So in his latest stream, he white knights for a godawful Vice article entitled 100 Ways to Make the World Better for Non-Binary People that the Amazing Atheist took to task.
He says there's nothing unreasonable about the list whatsoever and this is all optional (yeah right, only if you don't want to get witch-hunted off the internet), but I read it and it's bugfuck insane. Here's a sample:

He tries to claim there's no beef between him and TJ, like we've forgotten the huge tantrum he threw over Twitter because TJ retweeted Paul Joseph Watson once. He's honestly becoming more like Steve Shives every day. One of his arguments at the beginning of the video was that the article wasn't saying you were a bad person if you didn't follow this list, but then he gets mad at TJ for laughing at it.
Anyway, TJ made a response video and also called Dusty out on his bullshit:

Dusty and Tim Blake (totally a reasonable and rational SJW amirite?) waded in to try and fight back. It went as well as you'd expect:

I would say that Dusty knows that he was misrepresenting TJ and just doesn't care as long as he can get some content out of it, but then I saw this seemingly serious tweet. I think that he may actually just be as dumb as he lets on.

Of course, because they don't exist. No Dusty, no nonbinary people will not sleep with you.
It’s funny, because his argument of “This stuff is optional” was also deployed by Christian apologist Alister McGrath during a debate with Christopher Hitchens. Hitchens responded with “Yeah, but we’ve been told for centuries the alternative is burning in hell”.Of course, because they don't exist.
How this person who is so proud on his rational atheism and skepticism can buy the whole "non-binary" bs?
Of course, because they don't exist.
It really isn't going very well for him. I don't know what exactly he's trying to achieve here but it's pretty sad.
