Zoomer generation is half what milenial one is. They aren't even interested into working and are too doomerish to actually improve their lives.
Once their youth runs out, that's it. Haven't lived it, haven't enjoyed it. No memories of anything and they are as replacable as ants in a colony. They have a lot of mental issues on top of that.
It is not all zoomers,

There are a majority of them that never really left the: "When I grow up I want to become a youtuber!" phase of their childhood and then they learn life is more hard and requires more effort.
When I look back at the people I used to know in school I noticed the people to tend to have these asperations were not only insufferable, but right now, in their mid 20's, they still dont know what they want to do yet.
I met a buddy from back in college a long while ago, he wanted to do IT first because he loves games, then he wanted to do accounting because he was constantly told he was good with numbers, and now the aspiration is becoming a baker because he wants to get up early and sleep all day afterward while claiming he is in the right.
I know several people who are like this, people without a drive, like they were promised a good life without effort.

I dont know what it is, I see it more and more often that people just want to sulk and blame external factors, begging life to give them a bone while they have no skeleton to begin with.
There is no freedom of thought, or a sense or urgency that people will stop providing for them until its too late and they get cut off.
When they get cut off they do simple jobs like gardening for the government or do basic paperwork and then they get this high of "I deserve to be happy" or "I deserve this because I suffered" and when people ask why they lock-up or get angry because they do not have to explain it.

There is still the minority of zoomers that still want stuff, that do not sulk and beg for pity, and knows the value of action to achieve it.

Being a zoomer is like living your childhood on groundhog day, however your every little aspiration you have gets replaced by another one on the fly and you keep aging.

M and F zoomers are all obsessed about becoming an influencer. They are all shit.

Memory of a goldfish and aspirations of one too. It's really tragic. I want to say because of "wasted talent", but there's none.
I honestly expected more of generation that doesn't have to go to library to get a book to read. All information at the touch of a finger, yet, not even the slightest interest to it.

That niches are being shunned or outright denounced because it does not fit the flow of thought that is going to fleet in about a month or two?
The funny thing is we dont even have a mainstream culture anymore. Ask people what kind of video games they play and you'll get 3 million different answers, where if you did that like 15 years ago half of the people that did play games would probably tell you they played COD or something. The only "mainstream" shit we even have nowadays is for self serving faggots and women and you can't even bond over it or enjoy it socially without being, you guessed it, a fag or a woman.

I'm not a fan of "working on yourself". It's not something I believe in. People who have to talk about "working on themselves" aren't doing anything. It's a meaningless phrase and externalizing something you shouldn't externalize. Yes, you should have good financial practices. You should be working out. You should have an active social life. However, the more you assign effort to these things, the less likely they are to become normal habits. Think about working out like brushing your teeth everyday. You should just do it multiple times everyday, completely unprompted. The more you have to think about something, the less you do it. The goal is make good habits unconscious behaviors you naturally do. Effort is the enemy of making unconscious behaviors. The problem is when you externalize things and talk about self-improvement and grindsets, the more you assign effort and the less you do. That's why self-improvement always fails. Eventually one day, you simply won't put in the effort and you'll stop. Then you'll wonder why you constantly have to do things all over again and be in this constant cycle of self-improvement. This is the trap I've seen lots of Zoomers in particular fall into
20 year old zoomie here. This part cut through. Seriously I had an epiphany of sorts after reading this. Thanks.

I'd argue the opposite: People only play whatever's big on Twitch. You go back 15 years and ask whoever, they'd give you a unique tale of "Oh my uncle introduced me to fallout 2 and then-". Now it's "UHH I WANNA STREAM SO I PLAY APEX".

I remember this one fitness anime everyone raved on about. "Well even if it's shit, it'll get people to the gym!", aight and they'll quit once the anime stops airing. If motivation doesn't lead to an interest that can stand on its own legs, it's no good. In some ways the gym is almost too easy. Women go and walk on a treadmill for 20 mins every other day and consider it all done. No need to reduce their doomscrolling or better their mental health; they work out! Yass!

What's left to strive for? All jobs are in decline and there's entire industries about to be shelfed by AI. I read somewhere that zoomers stay kids long into their 20s because none of the benefits of becoming an adult are there anymore. Can't afford a house, can't afford a kid, can't knock up the wife cause she's busy streaming on Chaturbate.

AI right now is at its infancy, there is still a chance for some people of my generation to get this financial stability.
I guess its the generational cycle of those who are aware of the world and its future come out on top or die trying.
My father always told me that technology is the future as everything will be replaced by machine eventually.
You can see it when the first factories became mainstream as people lost their jobs.

Everyone I know from my generation that is successfull is doing tech, even I am doing tech and I am doing better off than most.
The worst part is, people who do tech seem to always have something wrong with them.
It either some broken family shit or some genuine autistic fascination. (I am a user on this forum so I am both lmao.)
Its this growing up early thing I guess where you cannot really depend on other people.

I really hate how NOBODY wants to have fun or do retarded shit. I get on my frat boy bullshit and everyone looks at me like im fucking insane. From 18 to my mid 20s I try to find people to do retarded shit with and everybody just wants to do shit online/doomscroll. Nobody wants to have fun, just milk dopamine which puts me in the same spot where I just play vidya, gym and study.

Need to get off my ass and sign up for fencing but im also lazy as fuck so I guess im no different.

If I want anything to get done, then I have to organize it, but that’s life for you I guess.

i actually think the competency crisis is going to kill zoomers way more than AI. The doomer mentality is making them be a part of a self fulfilled prophecy, they don't improve at all, rely on AI shortcuts because they think they will be replaced regardless but they become just like any other dumb pajeet and thus are much more replaceable.

Younger people also think STEM is all computer programming, what about chemistry and mechanical engineering?. Yeah , it sucks, overpaid remote jobs doing easy coding are harder to come by because poojet has chatgtp but but there are other fields being left forgotten because everyone keeps chasing the meme ones.

People only play whatever's big on Twitch.
During the pandemic that was 100% true but even that isn't influential anymore. It's a complete clusterfuck now, the only game I really see people bond over anymore is Super Smash Bros.

Which is fucked up because the "AI" is not in a position to replace people, it's just glorified autocorrect, glorified reverse image search, and a calculator rolled into one steaming hot shitpile of a package that costs more to operate per hour than a minimum wage worker and cannot truly learn, only get more accurazte when fed more data. Humans are nowhere near obsolete yet, but the greedy shitbags at the top would desperately hope the opposite even if it meant economic collapse just because they would make more money in the short term.

I feel the pain man. Having phone cameras angled at you 24/7 hasn't helped either.

They are holding their bags pretty tight, specially in tech.
Gen X is a mixed bag. They seem to be bailing out and retiring while they still can. I don't see them being the devastating cuntbags like Boomers were. The real crux of Gen X is how they raised their kids in the face of a rapidly changing world that they didn't keep up with. To be honest, it's hard for me to blame them for that. What I WILL blame them for is their refusal to understand that and blame their kids for their ineptitude. The Yuppies can also fuck themselves.

I know several people who are like this, people without a drive, like they were promised a good life without effort.
I understand this, however you have to understand this is relatively normal. Some people are just like this. It can take a few cracks to commit to something. The thing you need to do though, is make sure you're learning a bit from all of these and take what you figure out into your back pocket. It might not be useful today, but information and data is always useful. Someday, maybe they will open that bakery and if they've been practicing some recipes on and off over the years. The bottom line is, no venture is useless, so long as you can take SOMETHING from it.

When you get into larger businesses, that's the idea. It doesn't matter if your business goes bankrupt or fails, your business failed, not you. You still keep the assets and the experience. That's why CEOs who go bankrupt still get CEO jobs.

I honestly expected more of generation that doesn't have to go to library to get a book to read. All information at the touch of a finger, yet, not even the slightest interest to it
Why do you expect them to? People don't do ANYTHING unless they have to. The only time children are sponges are when they're young. After that, they won't want to learn. If you drown out their curiosity with goyslop like Ms.Rachel, you'll destroy their minds.

The only "mainstream" shit we even have nowadays is for self serving faggots and women and you can't even bond over it or enjoy it socially without being, you guessed it, a fag or a woman.
I said this same thing in the video games thread and got lambasted for it. It enraged every single screaming autistic faggot that maybe the death of AAA gaming and a centralized "gaming culture" wasn't a good thing. They all said indie is better, they have thousands of games now and they unironically don't see a problem with this because they're morons.

So let me elaborate on my point. Culture is a sign industries are healthy and growing and alive. When you get no central video game culture, AAA games fail. When indies flood the market by the thousands, it diversifies what people play. At first this seems great, but as AAA fails and crumbles and breaks apart, all those former employees have to go SOMEWHERE. So you'll see indie games rise. Except, there's no fucking money in them because there's thousands of them. Eventually you get to today, where there's so much bloat, and AI rising, you're facing a complete industry collapse against all spectrums. Zoomers fail to grasp this concept for some reason.

20 year old zoomie here. This part cut through.
Good. Don't fall for the grind set mindset. These people WILL fail. If people got rich off of cheap penny stocks, then penny stocks wouldn't be worth a penny. If you got rich from doing 3 jobs and working 24/7, everyone would do it. The "5 People Closest" to you thing is bullshit too. People only impact you as much you let them. The Zoomers are full fucking bullshit slop financial advice from sloptubers.

In some ways the gym is almost too easy. Women go and walk on a treadmill for 20 mins every other day and consider it all done. No need to reduce their doomscrolling or better their mental health; they work out! Yass!
In some ways it absolutely is. The reality is mental health is a load of bullshit too. I won't get into that here, but mental health is a scam to get to you buy into grifter bullshit.

What's left to strive for? All jobs are in decline and there's entire industries about to be shelfed by AI. I read somewhere that zoomers stay kids long into their 20s because none of the benefits of becoming an adult are there anymore. People were sold lies about motivation. Your motivation should begin and end at forming habits and fulfilling your basic needs. If the need doesn't exist for something, you probably won't have motivation to do it. That just how people operate. It doesn't just come out of nowhere. So if you don't have a kid, there's no motivation to try harder than your current comfort level. Some people just function better when they have to rise to the occasion. Unfortunately we're taught and raised the opposite way. "You shouldn't have kids to until you have a 6-figure income", but if you aren't in a rush, and you're comfortable where you are, you won't pursue that 6 figure income immediately.

If I want anything to get done, then I have to organize it, but that’s life for you I guess
Unfortunately, yeah. In every group of friends you'll find that it's pretty much one or two people who fill a role. There's the one who has the place, the one who calls everyone, the one who always shows up, etc. etc. It doesn't change no matter how old you get.
