Yeah but the used car market is insane. People want 2 grand for cars that wouldn't even be $500 a year ago.
Agreed.
Modern cars are also bullshit for repair costs. You could spend 5k on a used car and expect to spend another 5k making it roadworthy again. If starter new cars weren't sitting 40k a pop this would be ruinous for the used car market.
I blame all the bullshit technology they are putting into cars today. None of that shit is needed! They are turning Cars into computers with wheels attached to them.
Agreed.
This problem started 28+ years ago. The mindset of stupid people back then believed that the vehicle you owned was something... special... The mindvirus back then just continued to modern day.
You see this is NOT my society, NOT my economy issues. I have repeatedly stated how I gained my wealth living in one of the most expensive regions in the USA if not the world.
I really mean that GENERATION FAIL ROYALLY FUCKED UP EVERYTHING. I seen this first hand. I've posted the stats and videos of that fucked up mindset. That mindset are why things are the way they are.
Short term profits, short term results. Fuck the future, I must have things NOW.
Greedflation, Spendflation, are some of the reasons of that mindset.
My investment properties are paid off. I have not leverage bought anything in over 20+ years. Commercial Real Estate is Fucked right now because of all of the short term loans people take on their properties.
I'm okay, however I am seeing some bad shit heading my way and am dealing a lot of expenditures. Such as increased taxes. entitlements/bonds/assessments added to the property tax. I've already commented that my +20% profit of last year will be wiped out this year as I have to freeze any increases for the next 6 months.
But So far I do not think I will be going into the Negatives, meaning I'm not going backwards. But I am seeing some similarities with the 2008 financial market. There are a lot of bad asset loans being packaged and dumped on to the market.
I think long term. I have too. So in ending keep abreast on whatever you are doing/spending/your economic environment and hopefully you can navigate through the bad times that are already here.
