• I think supply hasn't grown quick enough.
• The Canadian government lets hundreds of thousands of immigrants to the country each year, pushing up demand.
• Foreigner investors, such as from mainland Chinese, use Canadian RE as safe investment/money laundering tool. Hence the price is now disconnected from local wages.
