- First of all kind of shitty clip art
- Didn't ask for it, didn't even intentionally update anything
- hovering highlights it, right click shows nothing to remove it, and left click opens search like normal
- I cannot find any setting to change it
- google is no help
I want enough tophats so I can take them and ram them down the throat of the UX designer that decided this was a good idea.

Just disable the search bar, you don't need it.

You could try "Classic Shell" or I think one of it's forks are "Open Shell" idk, I still use classic shell even though it's outdated, it still works, and I haven't had any issues.
