Black lady getting mad at hispanic ladies in a craft store

This entire concept creeps the shit out of me, just imagining cavemen trying to avoid being hunted by Neanderthals, or other human-like mammals. Just stumbling across some friendly people around a fire only to realise that they are more monkey than human.

Edit: I know that the real reason is less spooky. Let me have my fun.

Something with unusually long teeth, pale skin, sunken eyes, that is unnaturally skinny? Dead or diseased body. Something perfectly natural to fear.

It's most likely leftover from when the ancestors of humans began to differentiate so that they wouldn't attempt to reproduce with a similar-looking species they no longer were genetically compatible with.

I think the uncanny valley effect is just our death recognition pattern getting tripped.

I hate to break this to you bro, but Homo-Sapiens lived alongside many near human ancestors such as neanderthals and even interbred with them, that's probably where it comes from. That and things like birth defects and physical deformities.

True, but there is also evidence we fought against them, such as finding their knawed bones in human living spaces, implying that either we or our animals had fed on their bodies.
