I don't know where else to put this as there is no thread for cursed thoughts:

Fermented foods and cheeses were not invented overnight. They required an extensive process of trial and error before coming up with an end result that won't kill you or make you deathly ill.

If you disagree, try making sauerkraut with nothing but a fresh head of cabbage or cheese with a pitcher of milk and no other information.

Imagine how many people died due to the horrific diseases brought about by spoilage and contamination as they figured out how to make these foods. Also imagine how desperate these people were to try anything that could preserve or stretch whatever spoiled food they had longer.

This looks like a monster from a 50's horror movie. A clam was injected with radiation and somehow it became humanoid, and then proceed to go on a murderous rampage. That or it's a Power Ranger's villain.
