To my eyes it looks like they're just beans or something similar glued onto him. Joke, prank, hoax, whatever who cares. The bean things don't have any legs or anything and as noted already are solid and don't deflate. The skin doesn't seem to have been broken, certainly no bleeding. At around 45 seconds onward the shininess on his skin looks like dried out adhesive.
