Is Steven King that hard to read? For context, I struggle a bit with Lovecraft, but I’ve been on a Robert E Howard kick lately, and he doesn’t strike me as that hard to understand. I’m also an early zoomer.
I've only read The Dark Tower, but no. It's very simple, plain English. However, he does use implications in his writing sometimes, which can be confusing if you're stupid because it requires an extra step from being directly told something.

I was reading him in elementary school.
Same. I read "Eyes of the Dragon" in 6th grade and it was almost my first and last King book it was so trite and simple a generic fantasy with a mild murder non-mystery attached that he had to have written it for 'Young Adult' readers. (he did.) But thankfully I then read "Firestarter" which completely revised my opinion and I was a huge fan ever since. If this retarded zoomer can't read "it" he needs to stay in high school a while. That or shoelace it as a failure of society.

Nah, like other users I was reading his shit at around 11 or 12 at the earliest. At worst his books are cliche and filled with weird shit 'cause he was on coke while writing, but he's not terribly verbose.
