Careercow Curtis Adams / Unkle Adams - Delusional, wholesome white rapper who is deeply in debt.

As lame as that is, the man has a decent flow and to be honest he's a hell of lot better than Dat Qboi Cali.
I've never though unk is particularly awful on a technical level, not that I have much of an ear when it comes to judging music. However, the man is an idiot with a big ego and that has seen him make some of the worst possible choices imaginable. From getting scammed multiple times, to constantly digging himself further into debt, for spending years thinking he was "too good" to work for a living, to the god awful embarrassing lyrics he somehow creates. Then you have the actual subject matter of his songs which are invariably massive fake-it-til-you-make-it ego strokers or about moral causes, or even both at the same. The fact that he's also clearly a bit of a dick just makes it all the more enjoyable to watch from afar. God I wish he was still vlogging.

Don't get me wrong he's a retard for sticking with it this long. But in terms of technical ability he's a decent rapper.

I mean I get it. Kudos for sticking to your dream but going into debt for it to this level? Nah, pack it in, get a real job and keep working on the rap as a hobby. He's never going to make it big. Not after all this time but at least it means doing something he, hopefully, loves.

How is his debt situation now, anyway? I know that he claimed he paid off 100k in 2018, but has his situation gotten better or worse again?

Here. We. Go.
That's an old-ass song from 2018 (archive). Talk about striking when the iron is freezing cold.
And the video got claimed LMAO

He's a decent rapper I guess but he's got very little range stylistically and his beats are awful.

He's okay, reminds me of Masked Wolf. He needs some work with his beat I agree. Like hit up EMB Saskatoon, I'm sure he could use the work.

Lol. I was just thinking they should collab
Most rappers in Canada should collab anyways. It's really the only way to get anywhere now.
Either Joey Stylez or Tommy Da would be a good match.

The latest fad (well, "latest" weeks or even months ago) making its rounds across the internet is NFTs, so naturally Unk decided to try cashing in on the hype, in the only way he knows how. That is, making such a half-hearted attempt that it comes across as an afterthought. Someone in the Originalposting group actually paid for the first of these "Crypto-Unks," paying homage to Chris Chan trolls both old and new by giving a lolow money and calling the act "trolling."

Unk, much like Chris, interpreted this one-off pittance to be a sign that the NFT market was to be his big break, and has since made several additional "Crypto-Unks" based off of his various videos, which he is now trying to auction off. Notably, Unk felt so encouraged that he decided to invest in sponsored Facebook ads, as seen here.

I think that the quality of his "Crypto-Unk" series speaks for itself.

He is basing it off of the "Crypto Punks" that sold for 16.9 million at sotheby's. I hope he didn't think his shitty parodies were worth laundering money with like whatever drivel sells for millions in art auctions...

Also it's been said that it has actually cost more to mint the Crypto Unks than it sells for. He's literally losing money with this rarted stunt. It's the cordless drills and the TVs all over again

It's just even more so funny that Curtis has jumped on the NFT bandwagon just as the bubble has burst and when nobody really gives a shit about NFTs anymore. He could have had a chance making something had he gotten onto the trend back when it was all you'd hear about and decent money was being made.

Interesting TikTok from Curt

In typical Curtis fashion, he decides to go on a rant about how being a musician is "easy", listing off a heap of things HE PAYS FOR. All of these he could very much easily learn and do on his own for little to no expense, but no. It's no wonder why he's still up to the eyeballs in debt and everyone refuses to take him seriously.

FWIW he's released close to a dozen videos in the last month, all vlogs with the majority of them being him "reacting" to his own songs. I haven't watched any yet because I've been busy. Oh and because they look like his typical self absorbed shit, but you never know there might be some genuinely good reflections in there, or at the very least some classic unk delusion to talk about.

During the videos he pauses each of them every 30 seconds in order to pat himself on the back on how clever his rhymes are.

The most amusing part for me is he appears to be wearing a different colored plain baseball cap in each video. It's been years since we saw this guys hair. I suppose the idea of being balding on-top of being a struggling 36 year old bankrupt rapper is too much.

I wondered what happened to Unk, figured he'd have a real job by now. This new track sounds like it was a Gorillaz b side after the studio had a carbon monoxide leak. His rhymes are slow and the music is dated. I've noticed that instead of using loops he just repeats himself quieter.

Losing that big dick confidence.

Not a bad track, though. It's something a friend lets you hear and you genuinely mean it when you say they have talent, but in the back of your head, you think it's nothing new. Its one of those filler tracks on an album. Not bad, not good, just there in between the ones you actually bought the album for.

Oh, and I was thinking about killing myself but this track talked me down from that ledge. Thanks, Unk!
