Artcow Cuteosphere / Dragondicks / Ponydreamdiary - SJW Shitposter And Artist and WHERE ARE THE SHIRTS?

Oh I just knew that they'd get butthurt over that episode. There really isn't anything in SU that's "putting (that) tiresome stuff to shame" and unless you count only the most stereotypical female traits (being caring and all that junk) there's nothing actually feminine about any the male characters. So basically either DD's being a liar or a misogynist for associating femininity with stereotypical traits.

That said, if the mlp staff did this on purpose just to trigger thin-skinned skidmarks like this, then smart move.

Of course, in context it was more than just "haha man in a dress" but far be it for sjws to ever look at things outside of "what can I be offended at?". Cue the autistic ratings I guess.

Well, they flipped out about "man in a dress" when it happened on SU, but that was a crossover with Uncle Grandpa, which they already decided was problematic shitlord stuff and were already primed to hate.

It's still a game of let's see who can crytype the hardest about a show for toddlers, though.

ETA: Pretty lengthy article on all this bullshit at http://www.horse-news.net/2015/10/big-mac-in-dress-sparks-predictable.html

If a cartoon makes a grown adult want to cry because it 'offends' them, then their life is pretty fucking pleasant and they've likely never had to face real adversity.
I don't know what happened in the show but if it's anything like that one episode of SU then it was completely innocent and harmless.

Well at the risk of autistic ratings, I'll try and summarize it.

Bascially one horse wanted to do this competition with her sister, since it's all about sisters and such. However other horse is busy that day so horse #1's big brother performs LITERAL GENOCIDE dresses up and pretends to be a different female relative (the contest staff had a loose definition of "sisters") so the smaller horse can perform in said contest she was excited for. In other words he was risking humiliation just to be a good brother. Heck, like that bit in SU, there's not even really much joking about it either and when the truth inevitably comes out it's not like anyone ridicules or even shames him for it.

SU episode: Female character cannot do a task so male character dons a dress and helps out in her place = the most beautiful progressive gender-role smashing world-changing show evar

Okay Cuteo.

Everyone knew that the big horse was who he was too, even the smallest children. Another moment they really hated was hilariously during a singing competition where near the end he broke his falsetto and you could see an exaggerated Adam's apple and everyone reacted weird. Again, because literally everyone (well except for one clueless character) was not fooled, it was more of a "uh, I guess he is starting to fall apart" moment than "eww, this woman is manly." And they weren't even punished when it was "revealed" because again, everyone knew. They were disqualified for unsportstman-like conduct, not because he was male. It's implied that he could have done the competition as himself.

Wasn't there a moment in the SU episode where the exact same gag happened during a singing competition too?

Yup. And recently too. And with less cause, at least in the horrible triggering horse show there was reason to believe that it was a girls only thing. SU basically pulled the drag performance for no real reason considering it's made obvious right away that everyone knows it's him and they didn't know who the 'mystery' singer was and was only told it'd be a "mystery guest" with no mention of gender. Only real difference is people don't get confused over it and only because it wasn't an attempt at a disguise.

Ain't double standards grand?

It's pretty amazing that they're jealous of this group of people "stealing" stuff from them to the point where they complain about "problematic" writers on the show. Like, you finally found your Eden, your show that you get to gatekeep and gush over all you want. You're supposed to have moved on once you got everything you wanted, yet they're still salty. Maybe this episode hit close to home and made them realize something. I think cuteo only likes the show as a way to spite the people she hates.

Oh and for reference 99% of the people who threw triggered language and insults at the people who made the show did so to the voice actor. Barely anyone actually bothered the people who were more than just the voice.

So it's exactly like I thought. Man willingly puts himself into a dress, does not say or do anything offensive to women trans or otherwise, then everyone figures out it's a man in a dress and reacts in a manner which is not offensive to women trans or otherwise. I bet not a single character said "You can't do that! You're a BOY!!"
SMH. There should be laws against watching cartoons if you're not a part of the age group, it's the only way to get retards to shut up about them.

You expected consistency from someone like this?

You're assuming the people complaining have actually watched the episode in question. The majority have not, they're just drinking up and snowballing the nonsense they want to believe or have been fed to by people like dragondicks.

I don't think there's anything wrong with watching kids' shows or enjoying things outside of your intended age group. I'd be lying if I said I didn't. I think the real problem is when people like Dragondicks, and countless others on Tumblr and elsewhere, take something aimed at kids and try to make it exclusively theirs. You want to enjoy kids' cartoons? That's fine, a lot of them are pretty entertaining. But you have to accept that those shows do not belong to you, you are not the target audience, and they do not exist to cater to you and your beliefs. People like Dragondicks can't accept that, so they project their own personal beliefs onto these shows and these characters that aren't aimed at them, and then rage when things don't go their way. They're like bratty kids who want to play with the other kids' toys, but don't want to share them or give them back.

Pretty much this. A lot of kids shows have jokes or moments that are aimed at older audiences. Shows like Rocko's Modern Life and Animaniacs were chock-full of adult humor that kids didn't understand because the writers wanted adults to enjoy watching the shows as well. Even then, it doesn't justify the actions of people like Dragondicks. At the end of the day, kids cartoons are still mainly aimed at kids. If DD wants to sperg over a TV show, then she should watch something aimed towards her age group. She'll still look stupid, but at least a grown woman bitching about an adult show is a little less pathetic than a grown woman bitching about a kids show.

Sooner or later, Steven Universe will do something problematic in their eyes. Can't wait for the meltdowns.
There have been a few times when the show has done something that pissed them off. Mainly stuff about guys in dresses, which really seems to press their tard rage button hard for some reason. Nothing has happened so far to cause a mass exodus of social justice types from the fandom, though. The show gets a lot of leeway because it's one of the more diverse and "progressive" shows on TV right now. But you just know something's inevitably going to happen that's going to piss them off to the point where the entire show is deemed "problematic", and a massive Tumblrite tard rage will ensue that will probably last at least a few months. And when that happens, Dragondicks will be at the front of the line, screaming about "transmisogyny" and "rape culture" while drawing graphic porn of a show she claims to hate. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

What really gilds the lily as far as entitled shits like dragondicks go is that she vociferously complains about bronies while basically being a brony herself, and doing the same shit, that is, expecting the show to pander to her personal expectations rather than serving its actual target audience of little kids who don't give a flying fuck about her weird, creepy fringe politics.

It already has. People were so fucking pissed off at the Uncle Grandpa crossover episode. I'd be surprised if Cuteo wasn't included in that particular rabid crowd.

Ha! Like she'd miss that shitshow.
