Yeah, nobody ever benefits from talking to the police. What you say to the police can be used against you, but never on your behalf to defend you. If all police think you are innocent then they cannot do shit. They cannot say anything to help you in court (it would be considered "hearsay" and would be stricken from the record and the jury would be told to ignore it) they can only make statements that will hurt you.

If you say nothing then you might be released because they don't have enough evidence to hold you. Even with a lawyer, it makes little sense to talk to the lawyer, if you want to defend yourself then the place to do that is in court.
I know what you mean. If you were ever arrested for anything shut the fuck up

Even if you are innocent ask for a lawyer immediately

They will try to say that that will make you look guilty but no you shut up and lawyer up

Okay people what are your predictions
Mine are

-At least one minor outburst in the courtroom akin to what happened last time
-at least three stress sighs
- a continuance
These seem pretty reasonable for today’s appearance. Longer-term I think he ends up pleading to a lesser charge and essentially (once again) getting a slap on the wrist for doing something fucked up.

Good calls. He might also fart.

Even if further down the line he gets a slap on the wrist, that slap could possibly include a ban from Branchland. So there’s that.

My bet:

* A calmer, more subdued Chris than we're used to.
* Whining about the conditions in jail and a lot of stupid questions in general.
* The Gunt will somehow fuck up the live stream or get thrown out of court.
* All in all an anticlimax.
I hope for nothing. Anything that happens will one up my expectations. It's the only way to live life.

Ok, I'll try too.

- After a month in jail Chris wants home, so he begins to nag judge to let him go because of some gay shit, like "food is bad" or "I need my stuff"
- Hearing gets moved again
- Sigh, sigh, sigh, since now Chris realizes that no one is gonna let him go.
- Tantrum, but not a major one
- Gunt pussies out and just films from afar

Predictions?

I think he's going to be a bit more reserved, and likely hollow.

If you've ever seen someone who was not ready for jail life have to spend a month in jail and have their delusions rudely ripped from them, this seems like it is going to be a similar case. Call me optimistic, but I think we're going to see a more hollow, more drained out Chris Chan who is experiencing some of the consequences of his actions.

He may not think what he did was wrong, he may excuse what he did, but he has faced a month away from his legos, from the home he's known all his life, from Barb, from everything he's familiar with. Any smile he may of had when being arrested is likely gone. He may even have something of a thousand yard stare and just wants to get out whatever way possible.

Any sort of outburst might occur if he is told he needs to spend more time in jail, imo. The one thing he likely wants more than anything else right now is to get out and deal with the aftermath in a familiar surrounding.

I can see a lot of sighing, some complaining perhaps, but I think he's going to be more of a shell of himself, in all honesty
