That one day some weirdo would try to poorly mimic what his life will end up being, then go between various websites and make various accounts just to deny being him and A-log at Chris some more.
I remain a huge fan of this one. I mean, I love all the attraction pics, but this one is my favorite. He's not trying to be sexy, which means I can look at it without trying to dig my eyes out, but it also tells us so much about him. I mean, the awkward pose, the room full of kid crap (that he makes no effort to hide), the fact that he didn't suspect that showing girls all that stuff would drive them off, the Wall of Originals in the background... That pic is one of the better distillations of Chris, in picture form.
What a strange way to make the peace sign. Doesn't everybody make a fist while holding up those two fingers? I broke my right ring finger so I can't even curl it down like that if my middle finger is up, but even on my left hand I can't bend my fingers that sharply.
That's something that used to weird me out about OPL. The way he tried to mimic facial expressions and gestures looked freaky to me. He'd yell something angrily while mechanically mimicing a gesture or facial expression, then open his eyes really wide and just stare for some seconds until he started his next remark. I can't really tell which Video it was, but around the time the made the infamous THAT IS MY HOUSE video, there was one that contained a lot of the aforementioned stuff.
Something about the unnatural way of doing facial expression interspersed with his thousand yard stare just got to me...
Seeing how we now live in a post-taint-piercing era, I just wonder about my past luxury of being weirded out by such tame stuff...
Also on a sidenote:
Since you have trouble with facial recognition, does that also mean you have trouble recognizing people by their faces? Also is it easier for you to recognize facial expressions in anime or cartoon?
I imagine it varies from person to person; as for me personally, I have trouble recognising people by their faces. Most of the time I recognise people by a combination of things; body shape, clothing style, hairstyle and such. I find it much easier to recognise facial expressions in anime because it's much more clear-cut; it's clear when a character is meant to be smiling or crying or anything else, like they adhere more rigidly to a "set" of emotions rather than relying on the viewer to guess who they are. I saw a post here somewhere where an autistic person was saying that they can't enjoy live action TV because they can't easily distinguish characters and what they're feeling, and I have the same sort of reaction to it. It's just confusing.

I would think you'd do it like a fist, at least have your thumb in front of your curled ring and pinky. The way Chris does it is rather odd that he doesn't extend his thumb like that.

I found the autographed photos especially unnerving. In most of them, remove his mouth/jaw, and of course it is practically a vacant stare. It amuses me the only "emotion" he could pull off fairly convincingly was the "confused one-eyebrow up" look. That being universally the facial expression amateur artists cling to because it's so easy to convey. I wonder if it's just a coincidence.
Also, despite what people say, I think Chris looks better with glasses on. They offset his uncanniness.
This one is new to me, but I like it. He actually looks semi-normal; just an awkward nerdy kid who probably still has friends who care about him while he tries to find his place in the world. It reminds me of the early 2000s of my own life when I hung out with a bunch of punk rock kids and social outcasts in the Houston punk/graffiti scene.

I feel that way for a lot of pictures of teenage Chris. I'm probably wrong, but I always felt that somewhere in his teenage years, he could've... Well, grow up with relative ease. He could've slowly adopted a new mindset and begin his adventure into adulthood a normal, productive member of society. Sadly that never happened.
He looks like he's getting a bit overwhelmed (with happiness? with discomfort?) of just otherwise really awkward and like he might cry. Aside from him it looks like a pretty normal party, except for maybe the childish table cover.
Why are all these pictures scanned in, anyway? Did trolls get Chris to scan in ancient family photos of himself at his birthday parties, or did he do that of his own volition because he assumed the fanbase would be interested?

Bob either liked to read about computers (or computer-related things), or genuinely couldn't figure out that new fangled technology. Even though Bob was an engineer and knew how to work with machines my vote is for the latter.
I like this one because although Chris's face is relatively normal, his dead armed wave and table full of Lego, completely undermines any attempt at looking like a non-exceptional individual.
Just noticed that the balloon says ''You are Special''-damn right.
