I just love pictures of little Chris during the 80s. If you look at them knowing nothing of who he is now, he seems like an entirely different person.

- He is not the least bit fat
- He's always smiling, and in an actual happy way
- He looks like he's in a natural normal surrounding.
- He appears to be Bob and Barb's grandson but is actually their son.
- He doesn't appear to be autistic.

& he's dressed normally.

He sure did sport some Betty Page bangs for most of his time alive. Good work Barb. I think Chris was more gender neutral as a child, and generally happier because of it. When he started becoming a man in his teens he kind of rejected it. Also Bob and Barb were likely more carefree when Chris was young as Chris' challenges in life hadn't yet begun.

I don't think he rejected it, he was just naive and Pokemon came out. The pretty girl 12th graders at the time didn't like Pokemon. ]:(P

This pic has always (excuse me) grinded my gears:

I still think the "prom" was a graduation party, and someone fooled Chris into thinking it was the prom.
Chris-almighty. That is a horrendous picture.

I can't help but sympathize with the kid across the table. Bet Chris was hogging all the Legos.

Just now noticed the dolls on the table

I've noticed them before. At first I thought they were his custom Sonichu and Rosechu Lego figures, but they're too big for that to be the case. I'd like to see them from the front to see how bad they really looked. Is there any other documentation about these things?

I wonder why Barb is even with him in this pic?

Isn't it at Toys 'R us? And didn't she drop him off there so she would not have to deal with/ be around him :? ?

Edit: Those two kids next to the mountain dew can do look sort of worried/ concerned. Lord only knows what Chris/Barb had been saying and doing before the pic was taken

That picture is a real creepy one, I'd say. On par with that creepy stare one from his 18th Birthday, but this is still on its own level of creepy. Considering he was a big TGC player, I never put that much thought into this 20-some year old man child playing games with children. What I'm curious is did he think the little boys were just as much JERKS as all the other JERKS taking the pretty girls from him? Because even for me, as a little kid, I hated the other guys for that.

His face just carries that blushy look that screams creeper just like in the 18th birthday.

I'm guessing they are poorly modified, circa 1995 Tyco Sonic and Amy Rose plastic figures.

Chris was spoiled so much, it facilitated his unoriginal artistic exploits. Like, when I was young I had a strange assortment of toys that were unrelated and I made the best of it. Chris probably has so much Sonic shit from years of his parents trying to keep him quiet that he can barely think of anything else, hence Sonichu.

Little autistic Chris should not have won that Sonic sweepstakes. Tons of video games now at his disposal, to fill his autistic mind with wonders of nothing.

If it wasn't the Sonic Watch and Win Sweepstakes it really would have been something else, that would have continued his Sonic fixation

It's easy to miss because the logo is super faded. He probably wore it all the time for years before it fell apart or he got too fat to squeeze into it. My folks would have never let me leave the house in such a horribly faded shirt, but I think all Barb 'n Bob really cared about was that he isn't naked and it's not (probably) covered in fresh food stains.

I remember I had a Pokemon shirt that I loved the shit out of, so much that the shoulders are now covered in holes. My mom wouldn't let me hear the end of it until I stopped wearing it outside the house.

As for the photo, Chris does kinda look like he's bogarting all the pieces and the kid sitting at the table is waiting for him to leave.

Unless I'm mistaken, those are his own Legos from home. The event was for kids to show off their creations to other kids.

Yeah he does. He is all "hip & cool" in Lego form, like some sort of stereotyped teenager jock you see in movies who's real popular.
