Holy crap, I've seen that picture before and I never noticed the cap and gown were different. I can picture the sea of black gowns and then CWC in his blue one, probably with a halo around him where people are trying to avoid standing right next to him.

The medallion itself should have pushed people away. And is it just me, or does his skin look extra greasy in that pic? Like he couldn't even wash up for graduation.

Oh, the medallion might as well have been a block of Limburger cheese around his neck. No female considers that to be a viable adult male with a homemade cartoon character necklace on. Imagine if the 2 South Park creators wore Cartman medallions. They would look insane, just like Chris always does.

Those two wore gowns to the 1999 Oscars and still got more positive attention than Chris.

I really can't believe that pvcc let Chris get away with this, autistic or not. At least they forced him to wear the honor roll sash on the inside.
 
I don't think anyone forced Chris to do anything. The PVCC gave him a meaningless piece of paper that he did not earn, simply to push him out the door on the condition he never EVER came back. They just let baby play dress up one last time, since stopping him would probably just start the whole process over again with his autism and his parents' love of suing people.

I wonder if Borb allowed the graduation get up as part of some kind of twisted victory statement. Something like "Look, this autistic young man who you all think is weird managed to graduate college. Let's see you dare to judge his ways now!"

More like 1)Bob didn't want to stir up a ruckus by telling his speshul snoflake he wasn't suppose to wear it, and 2)Barb felt that her autistic dumpling should be able to wear whatever makes happy because that's all that matters. Traditions and formalities be damned.

I don't know, I would think Chris wanted to show how much better MHS had been that PVCC. After all, MHS was, until Spring, his ideal place that he shined in. HONOR ROLE and all that. It was probably an autistic protest against the trials of PVCC and Mary Lee Walsh.
