I don't necessarily read a lot into it.

Firstly, if you go to a thrift store you tend to see a lot of garish crap.

A lot of little kids like bright colours. Chris tastes seem to be those of a young child. If he was given any input into the purchases, he might have chosen brightly coloured crap. Or if Barb bought clothes based on what he liked best of his current clothes.

And then it became a signature style.
A lot of people end up with a uniform of sorts, but since most don't usually wear brightly colored rugby shirts and they aren't as bizarre as Christian, we don't always notice them.

Well she's dressing appropriate to her body type unlike Pixyteri.
She also understands the concepts of stylish hair and makeup, portion control, and personal hygiene. While certainly high functioning for her condition, this is a woman with a universally accepted mental disability that is more capable of living a normal life than most of the lolcows documented on this forum. That is equal parts admirable of her and shameful of them.

My one question is the ribbon Chris wore from the Sonic Watch and Win Contest it comes at the 40 second mark.

I can't make it out but it looks like one of those participation ribbons they give out during field day in elementary school. Or it could just be a cheapo ribbon he got as part of the Sonic prize package. It's tres 90s chic.

Does anybody know roughly when that picture of Barb was taken, the one where shes asleep on a seat with her cats, with the Atkins diet book and the snowglobe of Chris near her? I'm curious because we just learned that thing turned on Christmas Day 2004, I'd like to know ho long she kept that shitty thing prominent near her

Well according to the wiki:

21st March 2010, or that was the last date it was edited.

With anyone else that shitty thing would have been thrown away, but I guessthis is Barb we'retalkin about

Eh to be honest, I don't think so if it was your kid at the age of 6 who gave you a snow globe of with there pic you would probably keep it. Hell my mum an dad have this really tacky pic of me an my sister when I was 8 an she was 4 knocking around there living room (that we pooled our pocket money to buy for them), I do agree though it was a awful gift for any one over the age of 10 to give, but Chris still hasn't at the age of 33 progressed above the mental age of 6.

No that's not fair, Chris has become a sulky teenager over the past few years.

Speaking as a mother, I disagree. Mothers cherish gifts from their children, no matter how cheap or tacky it is...ESPECIALLY if it has a picture of said kid...

Although my kid is a toddler and not an autistic manchild, so I don't know how different that is.

This piece of art is from high school I believe. Being married to Chris sounds pretty ideal. I mean he has a PokeCenter built right into his living room. Also it looks like this is before Chris was thinking about Crystal. I wonder what he would name a son if he somehow had one. Also prototype Rosechu on the couch who despite being his wife still looks uncomfortable around OPL.

Yeah but after a while you pack it into the attic for safekeeping, Bard must have set it down there that Christmas day and it hadn't moved in at least 6 years
