- What's that big clunky thing to the right of the TV that's covered in Transformers and a Sega Saturn? An old VCR?

They have to be by necessity. These pictures predate Friendship is Magic by a significant amount.

behind one of the ponies. The ponies are possibly authentic and not cheap knock-offs but it's hard to be sure from here. But they resemble the ponies I had as a child, but these are presumably much newer.

They look like an earlier generation than the Friendship is Magic ones, but the resolution isn't good enough to expand them much. I think they're either G2 or G3.

Those ponies are definitely legit. You don't see hair that good on a knockoff on those molds. Couldn't say which ones they are, but they're from Gen3, top one's an earlier g3 and the white one is from the middle of g3.

Thank You, I wasnt sure because those ponies look too BIG, I have no idea if they come in different sizes but the ones I usually see in walmart are not as big as the ones Chris has.

Sorry for being autistic but can we get an estimate of the money he pissed on Transformers in this photo, and what they are. I had transformers when I was like 10-12 year old, G1 mind you 80s kid, so none of the ones in this photo look familiar to me are those from Trasnformers animated.

I figured it was, how he got it I don't know, I did get my first LD player for free courtesy of a high school dumpster dive one summer, still worked and everything!

It's an RCA selectavision. There's a pic of little Chris sitting on the floor next to a box of the discs. You inserted this huge cartridge in the player the disc was inside

OK, I can see how he ended up with that. Too bad his folks didn't go with LD instead.

He made it himself out of Crayola Fucking Model Magic. But he had trouble getting it to look right so after this he bought the plastic horses and used a tool to weave plastic hair to his liking. The new improved Cheroki-Clan pony was store-bought and painted.

When I read about Chris on the ED page many years ago, I thought they were joking that Chris made a My Little Pony out of his own pubic hair, but it turns out he actually did! Mind you, that's not pubic hair, but still... just slightly creepy. What symbol is the tramp stamp? (er, I mean "cutie mark")
I found this when I was searching for the photo with what looked like a My Little Pony rat king, but this is more interesting.

It's supposed to be the "Cherokian Crown" from the Sonichu comic (one of many plot points that was introduced and completely forgotten in the span of an "episode.") I'm not sure if this or the comic appearance came first.

A bunch of Gen3 ponies can with 'crowns' that sat on their head like that, I wouldn't expect it to be a wholly original thought.

You mean the hair that was very greasy and "smelled funny"? I'm picturing big bald patches everywhere, or at least a haircut that looked like a drunk ape did it with hedge clippers. Still, it's not like his hair ever didn't look disheveled, not that he cares.

Chris also used his own hair to create it. Shamanism at its best! Also check that weird, unnatural pose of the left hindleg.

I can't find a screen cap, but there's an episode where Peggy is in an art show, and discovers that Jimmy is also an "artistic genius" - IIRC his art resembles OPL's.
