As the title says, I'm going to write a lyric opera (and going to represent it) about Chris.
Yes, it will played and produced by professional musicians, in a professional play.
Actually it's a real personal project, and I've studied Chris for loooong time, and the librettist too (we actually read close to every article in the wiki).
What I'm asking to you is: what kind of problems could generate something like this? What kind of copyright infringments? For example, in Glass' opera "The perfect American", about Walt Disney, several characters are quoted, but never showed in any drawings or played by any actor, as there is not a partecipation by Walt Disney Company in the production.
PS: sorry for my english, but it's not my first language (the opera will not be in english, but I'll record it and put on youtube with subtitles).
