The Sonichu Drawing thread is irredeemably cluttered, so I'm starting this up to see what people are actually willing to spend on his doodle.

If it's more than $150 PM me.

Thousand or less, but only once. I would do it to see weens go nuclear at how Chris made money off his art.

Honestly it'd be cool to own a Chandler original but I think with the amount of effort he put in (more than normal but still not a ton) it's worth less than 50 dollars just becuase of the novelty.

I'd buy it for weeny purposes, but only for a few dollars. $5 at most.

DOLLARS ARE EXPENSIVE.

My country sucks.

100 is the most I'd be willing to pay. It would also have to be a REALLY good piece of Chris art/memorabilia.

I'd go for $20 and that's it for me. I figure he at most had to have put in like what, 20 minutes of effort into this (although that is pushing it), so that's more than generous.

I mentioned it beforehand, but if Chris spent like 20 minutes per drawing and started cranking 'em out en masse and charged only $20 per illustration, he may have been able to have gotten at least SOME money by now.

If money were no object, I might spend up to $40, shipping included, if I could get something custom-drawn for me and there weren't any movies I wanted to see that week. The drawing he's offering now is just boring, even by Chris's low standards.

Eh, I think that between the actual (better than Chris' usual output but still terrible) quality of the art versus the notion of owning a Chandler Original, I think that $50 would be the absolute maximum I could justify for anyone who wanted it for the sheer novelty of the drawing. If he started cranking these out on a regular basis I'd say $20, but for this first one I'd say $50 or less just for the novelty.

Only if it comes with a health insurance, because I'd probably contract autism by only being near that doodle.

I might pay between $30-$40 for a new original. Maybe more for actual production artwork, or something Christorically significant (SheCameForCWC, the "Virginia is for Virgins" or "Zap to the Extreme!" Sonichu covers). But I collect weird things (I paid $40 for a 1st ed. AD&D PHB and Keep on the Borderlands at a convention once).

I'm not completely opposed to giving Chris stuff, but I'd have to get something a lot better than this crap. Even if it was just $20, fatty'd have to really come up with something good to earn that $20.

Even if it was free I wouldn't bother walking to my letterbox for it, to be honest. But I won't vote for the "thieving red cent" option, because I do think Chris deserves $50 or so for actually putting the effort in and finally trying to market his circumstances.
